ASHKAN BIGHAM
Ashkan Bigham got his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II. He is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Polymers, Composites, and Biomaterials (IPCB) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Italy. He was a research fellow at IPCB and the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (IBBC, CNR) from 2020 to 2022 developing theragenerative (therapeutic + regenerative) biomaterials for cancer therapy and regeneration. His current scientific interests include the design and synthesis of multifunctional biomaterials and biocomposites for biomedical applications.
His Professional and Scientific activity comprises: More than 70 scientific publications including original research papers, reviews, and book chapters in high-impact factor and prestigious journals and publishers including Chemical Society Reviews, Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Small, Bioactive Materials, etc., and more than 10 presentations at international
