Prof. Ahmed Thabet joined the Electrical Power Engineering Group at the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, as a Demonstrator and advanced to Professor in October 2017, a role he continues to hold. His research focuses on modeling and developing electrical engineering systems and industrial applications, particularly through nanotechnology. He investigates nano-scale materials and additives to enhance performance in industrial sectors, with additional interests in electromagnetic materials, electroluminescence, and the thermal and electrical aging of dielectrics.
He has participated in numerous international research programs to broaden his expertise, including academic visits to the UK, Finland, Italy, the USA, and Saudi Arabia. He established the first Nanotechnology Research Centr
