Enhancing firm performance with supply chain risk management and supply chain resilience: the enabling role of supply chain digitalization adoption Moh Ramdhan Arif Kaluku, Sumiati Sumiati, Ainur Rofiq, Djumilah Hadiwidjojod Brazilian Journal of Operations and Production Management, 2025 Goal: This study aims to investigate how supply chain risk management (SCRM) impacts firm performance (FP) in Karawo MSMEs, while also considering the mediating role of supply chain resilience (SCR) and the moderating influence of supply chain digitalization (SCD). Design/Methodology/Approach: This study develops a theoretical framework to analyze the influence of supply chain risk management on financial performance, based on resource-based theory (RBT). The analysis involved data collected from 195 micro, small, and medium enterprises in Gorontalo province, utilizing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the theoretical hypothesis. Results: The findings indicate that demand risk management (DRM) and regulatory risk management (RRM) substantially enhance FP and systemic capital requirements (SCR). Furthermore, SCR serves as an intermediary in the relationship between SCRM and FP. This study also determined that SCD does not exert a beneficial moderating influence on the connection between SCRM and SCR. Practical implications: This study assists MSMEs in enhancing performance via supply chain resilience. This study further on prior research in the SCM field by establishing a theoretical framework that connects DRM and RRM to risk management. Originality/Value: This research elucidates the impacts of DRM and RRM that influence SCR, grounded in RBT. Secondly, SCR is presented as an intermediary phase connecting SCRM and FP, elucidating the internal mechanism linking the two. This study further examines the role of the SCD component in the link between SCRM and SCR.
Exploring the role of generative artificial intelligence among employees in the hospitality sector: Insights from an extension of the job demands-resources theory Muhammad Ashoer, Haroon Iqbal Maseeh, Xin-Jean Lim, Ainur Rofiq, Achmad Zulkarnain Zaenal AI Metaverse Revolution Transforming Multi Business Scenarios Volume 2, 2025 Understanding the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in sustaining employees’ work behavior in the hospitality sector is increasingly crucial as these technologies become more integrated into daily workplace activities. Drawing from the extended job demands–resources (JD–R) theory, this study investigates the relationship between JD–R constructs and their sequential effects on burnout, work engagement, well-being, and performance among hotel employees in the context of the hospitality sector. This research also assesses generative AI (i.e., ChatGPT) as a moderating factor, as strongly recommended by previous influential studies to provide significance. Through purposive sampling and electronic questionnaires data collection, a total of 285 eligible hotel employees in several big cities in Indonesia were selected as respondents. Results from Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) showed that job demands had a significant impact on burnout and well-being. Furthermore, job resources had a notable impact on work engagement, yet did not affect well-being. Work engagement and burnout significantly affected employee well-being, subsequently influencing the performance of hotel employees in Indonesia. Moreover, the moderating effect of generative AI in strengthening and reducing the relationship was also confirmed. The research findings have implications for the development of strategies in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-driven workplaces in hospitality and tourism settings.

Effect of intellectual capital and information system capability on effective strategic decision making to achieve financial performance Raden Edi Sewandono, Armanu Thoyib, Djumilah Hadiwidjojo, Ainur Rofiq International Journal of Business Information Systems, 2025 This study analyses the importance of intellectual capital and information system capability applied in state-owned companies in Indonesia, influencing the company's financial performance through mediating variables.Using the theory of resource-based view (RBV) and bounded rationality to investigate these relations, a series of hypotheses are developed, considering effective strategic decision-making as a mediator variable. The study analyses structural equation modelling (SEM) derived from empirical data from 106 companies in Indonesia. The study attempts to precisely analyse how the impact of intellectual capital and information system capability on established state-owned companies in Indonesia is affected by effective strategic decision-making.The research exposes that information system capability does not influence financial performance, whereas intellectual capital and information system capability indirectly leverages financial performance through effective strategic decision-making.

High Accuracy Data Classification and Feature Selection for Incomplete Information Systems Using Extended Limited Tolerance Relation and Conditional Entropy Approach Mustafa Mat Deris, Jemal H. Abawajy, Iwan Tri Riyadi Yanto, Adiwijaya Adiwijaya, Tutut Herawan, Ainur Rofiq, Riswan Efendi, Mohamad Jazli Shafizan Jaafar IEEE Access, 2025 Data classification and feature/attribute selection approaches play important role in enabling organizations to extract meaningful insights from vast and complex datasets. Besides, the accuracy and processing time are two parameters of interest to determine which approach is favourable or suitable for enormous data. Moreover, the presence of redundant, incomplete, noisy and inconsistent data made more concern to accuracy and computational resources. The issue of incomplete data is addressed in limited studies due to its complexities, particularly on data classification and accuracy as well as attribute selection. The limited tolerance relation between objects is the favourable approach used in this scenario. However, the accuracy and the data classification rate need to be improved. In this paper, a new approach called extended limited tolerance relation with the similarity precision among objects to improve the data classification with high accuracy will be presented and the feature/attribute selection is performed using conditional entropy. Comparative analysis and experiment result between the proposed approach with limited tolerance relation approach in terms of data classification and accuracy are presented. The proposed approach comparatively improved the accuracy with better data classification rate and feature selection while preserving the consistency of the information in incomplete information systems that is worthy of attention.
