  • Analyzing the Correlation between Symptom Profiles and Patient Outcomes in Cancer Therapy
Prathima Prakasam, Shenbaga Lalitha S, Damanjeet Aulakh, Neeta Mazumdar, Lokesh Ravilla, Sudha D
Health Leadership and Quality of Life, 2025
Cancer treatment outcomes vary significantly among patients due to differences in symptom profiles, which can influence treatment effectiveness, recovery trajectories, and overall quality of life. The research examines the relationship between symptom profiles specifically fatigue, pain, and psychological distress and patient outcomes in cancer therapy. A cohort of 395 cancer patients undergoing treatment was analyzed, representing various cancer types, stages, and treatment modalities, providing a comprehensive assessment of symptom-outcome relationships. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and correlation analysis were utilized to identify symptom patterns and their impact on treatment response as well as patient well-being. The findings reveal that distinct symptom profiles correlate with variations in recovery rates, treatment efficacy, and overall quality of life (QoS). Patients experiencing high levels of fatigue and pain tend to have prolonged recovery times, increased treatment side effects, and a higher likelihood of treatment modifications. Those with severe psychological distress often exhibit lower adherence to treatment regimens, potentially compromising therapeutic effectiveness and long-term survival rates. These insights emphasize the need for tailored symptom management strategies to improve patient-centered care and treatment success. By integrating symptom monitoring into treatment plans, healthcare providers can develop more personalized interventions, optimizing both treatment efficacy and patient well-being. Understanding these relationships can aid in refining cancer care approaches, promoting more effective therapeutic strategies, and enhancing patient recovery. The significance of treating cancer holistically, which takes into account both psychological and physical symptoms, is highlighted by the research. Future research should explore targeted symptom management techniques to further enhance individualized cancer.
  • Obesity in pregnancy: A comprehensive review of risks, interventions, and clinical management

    Multidisciplinary Reviews, 2025
Obesity during pregnancy has severe implications for both the mother's and the children’s wellness. The combined effort of health risks, such as parental elevated blood pressure, diabetes while pregnant, and increased possibilities of childbirth issues, can lead to major difficulties, making it challenging to regulate the consequences of pregnancy. This review underscores the importance of understanding, recognizing dealing with the multiple potential risks associated with pregnant obesity, which includes fetal problems. Employing effective involvement includes dietary management, physical activity, medical surveillance, and the consequences of obesity can be mitigated. It also explores the pregnancy-related complications specifically considering their segregation by racial/socioeconomic issues, the culture as a defining factor of the mother’s well-being health behavior and the intersectoral effect of obesity on medical services. The results indicate that there are significant differences in the prevalence of the risk and access to quality care, especially within underserved populations, which further proves that localized intervention programs and holistic policy approaches to preventing a set of acute complications are necessary. To enhance pregnancy results, it considers a clinical strategy that incorporates multidisciplinary collaborative treatment units while improving continuous maternity wellness tracking and forecasting of possible issues, as well as strengthening early diagnosis and preventive care, which is also important by enabling timely intervention and prevention. The implementation of these developments could improve the flexibility and effectiveness of reproductive medical systems, resulting in healthier deliveries and safer futures for both mothers and newborns. This review highlights the risk factors, timely actions, continual assistance, and the use of multiple process monitoring tools and predictive analytics for managing obesity-related concerns during pregnancy, which contribute to minimizing the health issues of mothers and infants and bring about improved outcomes for both.
  • Epidemiological study on Covid-19 frequency, severity, and territorial spreading

This study analyzes the descriptive epidemiology and testing performance in India has been thoroughly analyzed, revealing a robust and effective approach to reporting and managing COVID-19 cases. COVID-19 scenario reports from January 22, 2020 and April 30, 2020 in India. This research examines COVID-19 incidence, severity and spread. The examination frequency was explained spatially and temporally. Along with public health metrics and events, we showed trends and characterized instances by period location and individuals. During January 22, 2020 and April 30, 2020, people were tested for SARS-CoV-2; 40 184 (3,9 %) of the tests produced positive findings in India. Age-specific assault rates were lowest among children under 10 and highest among those aged 50-69. Positive instances were more common in encounters with complaints and in non-responsive people than in patients with SARI, overseas travel experiences or healthcare professionals. Males had a greater assault rate (41,64 %) over females (24,32 %). Six percent of attacks were secondary. In all, 71,1 % of 736 districts reported COVID-19 instances and 99 % percent of districts confirmed treatment.
