Dr. M.S.FATHIMA BEGUM working as Assistant professor of History in G.T.N Arts College, Dindigul-5 , Tamilnadu. A dedicated,resourceful and goal driven professional with a commitment of social and academic growth. She holds doctorate in History with the specialization in Modern History. Her doctorate title is "The Muslim Press and National Politics in the Madras Presidency 1917-1947". She has presented various research papers in many national and International conferences , seminars, workshops and published the articles in International and national Journals. With an experience of 13 years in G.T.N Arts College she thoroughly enjoying with students and motivating them to attend the competitive examinations etc.

My Research topic is The Muslim Press and National Movement in Madras Presidency. It will help the researchers to do deep research and find out the role of Urdu, Tamil newspapers which was published by the Mohammedans during the Indian Freedom Struggle. researcher in modern and medieval history
