Building an Open-Source HA Cluster: Proxmox VE + CEPH For "Five Nines" Service Continuity Abdurauf Abdullayev, Bahodir Zaripov, Maxsud Maxammadiyev, Ernazar Reypnazarov, Doston Khasanov, Mehroj Maxamadiyev, Dilnoza Shabonova Icfnds 2025 2025 the 9th International Conference on Future Networks and Distributed Systems, 2026 This paper presents the design, deployment, and evaluation of a cost-efficient, open-source high-availability (HA) cluster for corporate IT services using Proxmox VE and Ceph. Motivated by national digital-transformation priorities, we implement a three-node Proxmox VE cluster with distributed Ceph storage, network segmentation for management/ replication/ client traffic, and HA orchestration via Proxmox HA-manager. On this platform we provision mission-critical services – file sharing, a replicated database tier, web hosting, and mail – and assess failure behavior under node and service fault scenarios. Measurements show automatic service recovery from physical-node failure in ∼120 s and VM-level recovery from process/guest failures in ∼10 s, meaning effective annual availability of up to "five nines" with elimination of single points of failure at compute, storage, and network levels. Reliability risks are explained in more detail, mitigation is described, and a rapid cost/benefit view emphasizing the viability of open technologies to resource-constrained organizations is given. Results indicate the proposed architecture is reproducible, scalable, and suitable for medium-to-large enterprises seeking HA without proprietary licensing overhead.
DeepBiteNet: A Lightweight Ensemble Framework for Multiclass Bug Bite Classification Using Image-Based Deep Learning Doston Khasanov, Halimjon Khujamatov, Muksimova Shakhnoza, Mirjamol Abdullaev, Temur Toshtemirov, Shahzoda Anarova, Cheolwon Lee, Heung-Seok Jeon Diagnostics, 2025 Background/Objectives: The accurate identification of insect bites from images of skin is daunting due to the fine gradations among diverse bite types, variability in human skin response, and inconsistencies in image quality. Methods: For this work, we introduce DeepBiteNet, a new ensemble-based deep learning model designed to perform robust multiclass classification of insect bites from RGB images. Our model aggregates three semantically diverse convolutional neural networks—DenseNet121, EfficientNet-B0, and MobileNetV3-Small—using a stacked meta-classifier designed to aggregate their predicted outcomes into an integrated, discriminatively strong output. Our technique balances heterogeneous feature representation with suppression of individual model biases. Our model was trained and evaluated on a hand-collected set of 1932 labeled images representing eight classes, consisting of common bites such as mosquito, flea, and tick bites, and unaffected skin. Our domain-specific augmentation pipeline imputed practical variability in lighting, occlusion, and skin tone, thereby boosting generalizability. Results: Our model, DeepBiteNet, achieved a training accuracy of 89.7%, validation accuracy of 85.1%, and test accuracy of 84.6%, and surpassed fifteen benchmark CNN architectures on all key indicators, viz., precision (0.880), recall (0.870), and F1-score (0.875). Our model, optimized for mobile deployment with quantization and TensorFlow Lite, enables rapid on-client computation and eliminates reliance on cloud-based processing. Conclusions: Our work shows how ensemble learning, when carefully designed and combined with realistic data augmentation, can boost the reliability and usability of automatic insect bite diagnosis. Our model, DeepBiteNet, forms a promising foundation for future integration with mobile health (mHealth) solutions and may complement early diagnosis and triage in dermatologically underserved regions.
Design and Implementation of an active safety system for Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks(VANETs) Halimjon Hujamatov, Debasis Das, Amir Lazarev, Ernazar Reypnazarov, Doston Khasaniv, Ankur Nahar International Conference on Information Networking, 2024 Vehicular communication, underpinned by IEEE 802.11p/WAVE-based Vehicle Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), is instrumental in the seamless functioning of intra-vehicle exchanges. However, a comprehensive assessment of these systems reveals suboptimal efficiencies at the data layer, specifically regarding default broadcast intervals. Such inefficiencies lead to escalated packet collisions and subpar utilization of the delay time counter—factors that undermine the synergistic interplay between Active Safety Systems (ASS), such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and their passive safety counterparts. To address these intricacies, this research proposes an innovative mathematical framework tailored for the IEEE 802.11p MAC layer. We propose a model that elucidates the intricate dynamics of the delay time counter and offers refined broadcast intervals buttressed by robust algorithmic strategies. Empirical evaluations, conducted in meticulously simulated vehicular environments, validate the prowess of the proposed paradigm, highlighting a decline in packet collision instances. Quantitative findings from this research evince a notable decrease in packet collision rates and a commensurate enhancement in communication reliability, pivotal for advanced vehicular systems. Such technical augmentations directly elevate the operational reliability of cutting-edge safety mechanisms, exemplified by systems like the Toyota Pre-Crash Safety System.
Research of the application of blockchain and smart contract technologies in spectrum management and trading in cognitive radio networks Ernazar Reypnazarov, Halimjon Khujamatov, Debasis Das, Doston Khasanov, Elaman Nurullaev, Tazakhan Babazhanova E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 The rapid growth of wireless communication technologies has led to an exponential increase in the demand for spectrum resources. Spectrum management, the process of allocation and control of limited radio frequency spectrum, is critical to the efficient and equitable distribution of this scarce resource. However, traditional methods of spectrum management face many problems, including inefficiency, lack of transparency and proneness to fraud. In recent years, blockchain technology has emerged as a potential solution to these problems. The emergence of smart contracts using blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize spectrum trading and improve spectrum management practices. This paper explores the application of blockchain in spectrum management and discusses its potential to revolutionize the way spectrum resources are allocated and managed. Also, the concept of smart contracts and their application in spectrum trading are studied. It discusses the benefits of using smart contracts for transparent and efficient spectrum transactions, implementation challenges, and potential solutions. Through the use of smart contracts, a secure and decentralized market for spectrum resources can be created, facilitating dynamic and flexible allocation of spectrum.
Modeling and research of the operation of cognitive radio networks Ernazar Reypnazarov, Halimjon Khujamatov, Debasis Das, Alisher Shakhobiddinov, Doston Khasanov, Tazakhan Babazhanova E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 Cognitive radio networks (CRN) have emerged as a promising technology to address the spectrum scarcity problem by allowing unlicensed users to access the licensed spectrum dynamically. The operation process of CRN involves several steps such as spectrum sensing, spectrum decision, and spectrum sharing. This paper provides information on the model and algorithm developed for researching the operation of cognitive radio networks and describes the results of the research. The model is built in the Matlab software environment, and the relevant results of such processes as occupying channels, detecting spectrum holes, freeing channels, adding noise to signals, and suppressing signals in cognitive radio networks are graphically depicted.
