Holds medical degree from the Federal University of Ceará (1996) and Medical Residency in Cardiovascular Surgery from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (2002). PhD in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2007) and Specialist in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery by the Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital of São Paulo (2003). Observership at Childrens Hospital, Boston - Harvard Medical School (2009). Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (SBCCV). Qualified Member of the Artificial Cardiac Stimulation Department (DECA) of the SBCCV with Title of Practice Area in Electronic Cardiac Stimulation Implantable by the Brazilian Medical Association, Brazilian Society of Cardiology and SBCCV. Professor of Medicine at the Centro Universitário UNICHRISTUS-Ce anda cardiac surgeon at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Ceará and the Hospital do Coração de Messejana-Ce-Brazil.,
