Adnívia Santos Costa Monteiro was born in Carira (Sergipe – Brazil) on 24/08/1987. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 2009 from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) – Brazil, before joining the master's degree she worked as a higher-level Technician at the Laboratory of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (UFS). In 2011, he obtained a master's degree in chemistry from the same university, between 2012 and 2103 he was manager of Technological Infrastructure at the Research Institute of the State of Sergipe and in 2017 he completed his doctorate at UNESP where he defended the thesis “Speciation of Lead and Cadmium: Development of electroanalytical methods for evaluating the influence of natural organic matter and humic substances" under the guidance of Prof. Dr. André H. Rosa and Co-supervision of Prof. Dr. José Paulo Pinheiro (University of Lorraine – France), with a FAPESP grant.
