Background:Nurses play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to the community, particularly in public health centers in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the building of nurse competency strategies in the public health setting. Methods: Aqualitative research design with a descriptive approach was utilized. Data collection techniques through interviews. The informants consisted of fifteen people, with key informants in the primary setting, and were analyzed using a descriptive-qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. Results:The study results showed that two categories have arisen: the spiritual approach and the technological approach. The research findings on developing the competency of nurses in health services can be realized through education and training based on spiritual and technological aspects of building the competency of nurses. Improving nurse competence can be done through spiritual and technology-based education and training. Conclusion:By implementing the proposed strategies, it is hoped that nurses will be better equipped to provide high-quality care to the community, ultimately improving health outcomes and well-being. The implementation of public health nurses cannot be separated from the role of nurses in a public health center. Community health nurses in a public health center have at least six roles and functions, namely, as nursing case finders, health educators, coordinators and collaborators, counselors, and role models.

The skills of a good nurse manager, the quality and quantity of human resources, and the development of human resources to face changes both the internal and external environments begin with building nurses' commitment to various indicators of human resources development in hospitals that have an impact on customer or patient satisfaction. Quantitative research with an analytical observational approach was conducted in hospitals, with a sample of 136 nurses from the population obtained by probability sampling. The results of the statistical test that training is the human resources development factor that most affect the job satisfaction of nurses in hospitals with an Exp (B) ratio or odds of 1.790, indicating that nurses with more specialized training tend to be 1.790 times more satisfied than nurses with less specialized training, and that this is also true since their Exp B grades are good. This study concludes that training has a big impact on how happy nurses are. As healthcare providers in hospitals, nurses need to optimize their abilities and competencies to raise the standard of nursing care. Nursing directors are essential in building and recruiting, and measuring nurse competencies.

Health development is a way of increasing awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for everyone so that an optimal degree of public health can be achieved. The purpose of knowing how the relationship between nurse competence and community health care activities. This study employed quantitative approach and correlation analysis. The population was nurses who work at public health center in Makassar City, Indonesia, however there were 118 nurses who meet the criteria in their selection. There were relationships between attitudes, skills, and competencies with the level of implementation of community health services and that there is an interaction between competence and training. The results of the competency analysis obtained an OR value of 6.429, meaning that public health center nurses who have good competence have a chance of 6.429 times to carry out community health care activities optimally. Most dominant with the implementation of public health care is the interaction between competence and training. The competence of nurses need to be improved in order to optimize the implementation of community health services through training, coaching through assigned teams, and collaborating with peers and providing support in the form of policies for rewards and sanctions such as nurse career paths.

Background of the current era of globalization suggests that market mechanisms will be increasingly dominated by business organizations that provide services or produce superior products that have good competitiveness and take advantage of market opportunities. Providing quality service is inseparable from human resources that produce good performance and achievement. One of the factors that correlates nurses’ performance or work performance is the lack of a person's satisfaction with their work. Method descriptive analytic research with cross sectional approach. Information and data in this study were collected through a questionnaire on all nurses who worked at the hospital. After the data is obtained then an analysis is carried out to find whether there is a relationship between job satisfaction and the work performance of implementing nurses. Results, show that nurses who have good job satisfaction are 15 people (57.7%), showing good job performance. This shows that nurses who have good job satisfaction will have the desire to provide more energy and responsibility in supporting the success and welfare of the hospital. Multivariate analysis shows that the independent variables are related to the dependent variable. The results of the analysis obtained job satisfaction of 0.50 then it can be stated to have a significant relationship to work performance. Conclusion there is a relationship between satisfaction with nurse work performance. There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction with work performance working in a hospital treatment room. In providing good and quality health services, both in terms of service, care and also good facilities for patients. Job satisfaction is proven to provide a relatively good relationship to the improvement of work performance, it also does not rule out the possibility for companies to consider other factors that can provide convenience in the field of health services.
