    Journal of Mobile Multimedia, 2025
The Bharat 6G Vision aspires to transform India into a digitally advanced, economically robust, and environmentally sustainable nation through the deployment of cutting-edge 6G technology. To achieve this, it is imperative to integrate clean energy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and multi-business model innovations. The urgency for such integration stems from the need to address escalating energy demands, mitigate climate change, and enhance economic sustainability. The current energy framework faces challenges in efficiency, cost, and environmental impact, necessitating a comprehensive solution. Our proposed methodology involves developing AI-driven energy management systems that optimize energy consumption in real-time, integrating renewable energy sources into a smart grid infrastructure, and employing advanced energy storage solutions. We also advocate for the creation of circular sustainable multi-business model approach with Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) and circular economy principles to reduce financial barriers and promote sustainability. Central to our approach are the establishment of Green Industry Zones (GIZ) and Green Residential Zones (GRZ), which serve as practical applications of these business model innovations. Our research direction includes scaling these initiatives to develop smart sustainable cities that encompass both residential and industrial sectors. Case studies highlight successful implementations in these smart cities, demonstrating enhanced clean energy efficiency and sustainability. By integrating AI, clean energy, and innovative business models, we contribute to the realization of the Bharat 6G Vision.

2025 Global Conference on Information Technology and Communication Networks Gitcon 2025, 2025
This paper presents a comprehensive simulation study of a proposed 278 kWp grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system at Dr. D Y Patil Pratishthan’s College of Engineering, Salokhenagar, Kolhapur, India (16.67°N, 74.21°E). Using PVsyst V8.0.9 software and Meteonorm 8.2 weather data, the study evaluates the technical performance, energy yield, system losses, financial viability, and environmental impact of the project. The system comprises 540 WSMD-515 modules (515 Wp each) and 5 generic 50 kWac inverters, configured with a fixed tilt of 21° and zero azimuth. Simulation results indicate an annual energy production of approximately 433 MWh, corresponding to a specific production of 1557 kWh/kWp/year and a performance ratio (PR) of 79.20%. A detailed loss analysis identifies key areas of energy reduction. The financial assessment reveals a total investment of 8,380,000 INR, a Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of 1.50 INR/kWh, a payback period of 6.6 years, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 18.36%. The project is estimated to save 10,038 tCO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> over its lifetime. The findings suggest the project is technically sound and financially attractive under the simulated conditions.
  • A Digital Twin Approach to Assessing Post-Monsoon Air Quality Impacts of Agricultural Stubble Burning in Delhi
Shivaleela Arlimatti, Rajesh Gade, Peter Lindgren, Suresh Mane
International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications Wpmc, 2025
This study presents a comprehensive digital twin framework to quantify, simulate, and mitigate the post-monsoon air quality impacts of agricultural stubble burning in Delhi. Leveraging high-resolution sensor data, and machine learning models, the digital twin reveals the real-time variability of PM2.5 and CO concentrations, characterized by severe daily and hourly spikes that consistently breach health safety thresholds and align with peak residue burning events. Scenario analyses demonstrate that targeted interventions such as advanced crop residue management, traffic regulation, and dynamic public health advisories can substantially reduce pollution exposure and associated hospitalizations. Policy recommendations emphasize inter-state coordination, expanded financial incentives, and the deployment of open-access sensor networks to enable adaptive management. The results underscore the transformative potential of digital twin technology for predicting pollution episodes, guiding intervention strategies, and safeguarding public health. Future research should extend this approach to personal exposure monitoring, integrate additional urban variables, and advance collaborative AI-driven forecasting, creating a robust foundation for sustainable air quality management in India’s most vulnerable urban centers.

  • NAAC Accreditation of HEIs in India: An Agile-Scrum Project Management Approach
Suresh D. Mane, Shivaleela Arlimatti, Ganesh Rathod
Proceedings of the 2024 3rd Edition of IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference Delcon 2024, 2024
Achieving National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation is an aspirational goal for all higher educational institutions (HEIs) and universities in India. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell plays a major and pivotal role in implementing, sustaining, and growing the quality initiatives in HEIs. Project management, defined as applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements, can play a crucial role in this endeavor. This work proposes an Agile-Scrum-based project management model to streamline and enhance institutional effectiveness throughout the accreditation process. The model emphasizes continuous improvement through iterative cycles, focusing on specific NAAC criteria within each sprint. It outlines the application of product backlog creation, time-boxed sprints, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to effectively manage the accreditation journey. This approach fosters collaboration, transparency, and adaptability, ensuring that HEI's address NAAC requirements efficiently. The implementation of agile methodology was undertaken by giving awareness training to faculty and staff as 60% of them had no idea of this methodology. The effectiveness of training is an important issue to have smooth conduct of the events and over three forth of respondents were happy with the quantity and quality of training provided. 80% of respondents agreed that the effectiveness increased, which significantly impacted how the institution projected itself to the peer team and the minimal queries raised during DVV. By implementing this Agile-Scrum model, HEIs can improve their preparedness for NAAC accreditation and achieve continuous institutional improvement.

The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020) is a comprehensive framework aimed at transforming the education system in India. This paper analyzes NEP2020 and its details envisioned in promoting educational excellence and addressing the needs of a rapidly changing world. The educated elite have access to the information on salient features and hence are in a position to give their free and fair opinion. Thus, this work is based on twitter wherein it utilizes a dataset of 18000 tweets, focusing on discussions and opinions related to the NEP 2020. The tweets are preprocessed and then labeled with sentiment categories such as positive, negative, or neutral. A decision tree classifier is trained on the preprocessed and labeled dataset to predict the sentiment of new tweets. The performance of the classifier is assessed using accuracy, recall, F1 score, and precision metrics, providing insights into the effectiveness of the sentiment analysis approach. The decision tree classifier achieves promising performance in accurately predicting sentiment categories. It is observed that over 55% of tweets are positive towards the policy, 17% are negative and 28% are neutral towards the policy with the study being 92% accurate. The findings of this work can be used by policymakers and education stakeholders in understanding public sentiment and making informed decisions regarding the NEP 2020.
  • Polymer Backbone Stabilized Methylammonium Lead Bromide Perovskite Nano Islands
Chinna Bathula, Soniya Naik, Atanu Jana, Ramasubba Reddy Palem, Aditya Narayan Singh, Mohammad Rafe Hatshan, Suresh D. Mane, Hyun-Seok Kim
    Nanomaterials, 2023
Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite materials continue to attract significant interest due to their optoelectronic application. However, the degradation phenomenon associated with hybrid structures remains a challenging aspect of commercialization. To overcome the stability issue, we have assembled the methylammonium lead bromide nano islands (MNIs) on the backbone of poly-3-dodecyl-thiophene (PDT) for the first time. The structural and morphological properties of the MNI-PDT composite were confirmed with the aid of X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies, Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The optical properties, namely absorption studies, were carried out by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. The fluorescent behavior is determined by photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The emission peak for the MNI-PDT was observed at 536 nm. The morphology studies supported by FESEM indicated that the nano islands are completely covered on the surface of the polymer backbone, making the hybrid (MNI-PDT) stable under environmental conditions for three months. The interfacial interaction strategy developed in the present work will provide a new approach for the stabilization of hybrids for a longer time duration.
