    M.R. Senkumar, C. Priya, S.M.Haji Nishath, I.Sheik Arafat, R. Premkumar, S. Karthiyayini
Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Smart Electronics and Communication Icosec 2025, 2025
In the era of digital media, image manipulation poses significant threats to authenticity and trust across domains such as journalism, law enforcement, and social media. This study introduces an innovative approach for detecting tampered images through the integration of Error Level Analysis (ELA) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) utilising deep learning techniques. ELA preprocessing enhances detection by revealing compression inconsistencies, enabling the CNN to learn tampering-specific patterns. The model underwent training and validation utilising the CASIA1 dataset, achieving strong performance in accuracy, precision, and recall. Compared to traditional architectures like ResNet and VGG-16, the custom CNN integrated with ELA demonstrated superior results in detecting subtle manipulations. While the method shows high reliability, limitations include its binary classification nature and dependence on dataset diversity. Future work will explore multi-class classification and localization. Overall, this approach highlights the potential of blending traditional digital forensic techniques with modern deep learning methods to improve image forgery detection.
  • Design and Implementation of the Distributed Dosimetric System Based on the Principles of IoT
    C. Priya
Next Generation Innovation in Iot and Cloud Computing with Applications, 2024
This chapter describes the architecture and components of the distributed information and management system for collecting, processing, storing, and distributing data on a radiometric and dosimetric experiment using the principle of the Internet of Things. Data exchange between elements in the system, as well as the analysis of the received information, involves active application of the ThingSpeak cloud service. Two-way communication with the cloud with a 15-second loop has been implemented. Data are processed in the MATLAB (America) environment, integrated into the cloud. The developed hardware and software solutions demonstrate an increased accuracy of measurements due to the use of promising cadmium telluride (CdZnTe) detectors, modern microcontroller and micro communication technology, and a new algorithm for correcting the dependence of detector sensitivity on radiation energy. Measurement with correction by the method of average charge pulse amplitude is carried out in the energy range of 60 keV to 3 MeV. The resolution of the spectrometric channel is 6.5% at the peak of 662 keV of full absorption from the reference source, cesium (Сs-137). The module for a laboratory sensor network, designed to measure the dose of ionizing radiation, has a built-in spectrometric analog–digital converter, microcontroller control, and a communication unit. Constructing the diagrams demonstrates the operation of the interrupt handler in the form of a series of events occurring when requests arrive from a web server. The peculiarity of the system is the absence of intermediate devices that make it possible to establish a connection with the Internet. The developed system, equipment, algorithms, and programs are used for experimental studies of radiation and nuclear-physical processes. Elements of the system were useful for remote laboratory work by students.

Web page recommendation system has attracted more attention in recent decades. The web page recommendation has various characteristics than the classical recommenders. It is the process of predicting the request of the next web page that users are significantly interested while searching the web. It helps the users to find relevant pages in the field of web mining. In particular, web user may spend more time to identify expected information. To understand behavior of users and to visit the page based on their interest at a specific time, an effective web page recommendation method is developed by developed Multi-Verse Sailfish Optimization (MVSFO)-based Deep Residual network. Accordingly, proposed MVSFO is derived by the integration of Multi-Verse Optimizer (MVO) and Sailfish Optimizer (SFO), respectively. Here, the process of recommendation is carried out using weblog data and the web page image. The sequential patterns are acquired from weblog data, and the patterns are grouped with Deep fuzzy clustering based on cosine similarity. The matching process among test pattern and sequential patterns are made using Canberra distance. Here, the recommended web pages obtained from the weblog data and pages obtained from web pages image using the Deep Residual network are enable to generate the output using fractional order-based ranking. The developed scheme attained more effectiveness by the measures, such as F-measure, precision, and recall as 85.30%, 86.59%, and 86.04%, respectively for MSNBC dataset.

  • Smart IoT Solutions for Personalized Health: MQTT- Based Blood Pressure Monitoring System
    Pradeepa H, C. Priya, Saravanan G, R. Thenmozhi, C. Srinivasan
7th International Conference on Electronics Communication and Aerospace Technology Iceca 2023 Proceedings, 2023
Healthcare awareness can be achieved via remote monitoring of vital signs using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The proposed system aims to monitor blood pressure and other important signs with the help of the MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) protocol. The main objective of the blood pressure monitor is to increase health awareness through real-time warnings for high and low blood pressure. The device has sensors that can measure blood pressure quickly and accurately. Using IoT technology, the monitor may send this information wirelessly to a central server where it can be processed and analyzed. MQTT is the protocol for two-way communication between the blood pressure monitor and the main server. When a measurement is taken, it is compared to a set of medically recognized and individually adjusted threshold values to determine whether or not an individual has high or low blood pressure. IoT devices get notifications whenever blood pressure measurements exceed predetermined limits. After receiving these notifications, a device can communicate them to the user interface, such as a web application. This wireless IoT blood-pressure monitor improves health awareness by warning users of unhealthy blood pressure levels. Alerts allow users to contact medical help, modify medication, or adapt their lifestyle to maintain ideal blood pressure.
