He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Nutrition of the Federal University of Pará. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Master in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA-2009). Graduated in Food Technology from the State University of Pará (UEPA-2006) and Graduated in Business Administration from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA-2010). He held a postdoctoral degree at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas and at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto), where he developed activities related to the production of enzymes, cultivation of microorganisms and extraction of phenolic compounds. He also has experience in food technology and processing, enzymatic applications for polyphenol extraction, production of second-generation ethanol and lactic acid.
