Research Scientist-Team Leader
Glenmark Life Sciences (November 2023 - Till date)
Designed and executed a multi-step Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) synthesis. Optimize and validate API manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality, high yield, and cost-effectiveness. Develop robust specifications for raw materials, key starting materials, intermediates, and APIs. Implement strategies to identify, control, and minimize process-related and degradation impurities (including Nitroso and PGI). Develop purge/reprocess/purification strategies and implement recovery/reuse practices for solvents, catalysts, and undesired enantiomers, minimizing waste and environmental impact. Leading a research group for the R&D process.
Research Scientist
