Assel Aben received her PhD from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. She was a faculty member at the Al-Farabi University’s Higher School of Economics and Business and served as the Head of the Economic Research Department at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dr. Aben has experience providing training to civil servants, university faculty, and school teachers. Her research interests cover sustainable development, green economy, environmental education, knowledge and digital economy.
