Research Coordinator, Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management

Raquel is a Research Coordinator at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management, at NTNU, where she works with project development and coordination targetting international collaboration, with a special focus on the European Framework Programmes. She is also the coordinator for Sub-Programme SP5 (Sustainability, Techno-Economic Analysis, Public Acceptance) under EERA's Joint Programme Bioenergy.

Raquel obtained a MSc degree in Engineering Physics from the Technical University of Lisbon in 2004 and a PhD degree in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2013. Her PhD research focused on the environmental assessment of energy systems, using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

Between 2012 and 2016, Raquel was an advisor at Enova SF, a Norwegian governmental agency owned by the Ministry of Climate and Environment. Raquel has been involved in several national/EU funded research projects within the fields of energy and environment
