Fermion behavior around Sung-Won Kim wormholes in a generalized Kaluza-Klein gravity Everton Cavalcante IOP Publishing Abstract This paper investigates the behavior of fermions in the vicinity of Sung-Won Kim wormholes (Kim S.-W., Phys. Rev. D, 53 (1996) 6889) within the framework of a generalized Kaluza-Klein gravity. The study explores the geometric and quantum implications of introducing an extra dimension into the Sung-Won Kim wormhole model. The impact of this additional dimension on the stability and traversability of the wormholes, as well as on the fermionic equations of motion, is analyzed. By examining the modified Dirac equation in this extended framework, the emergence of geometric phases and quantum holonomies is discussed, providing insights into the topological aspects of fermion dynamics in curved spacetimes.
Chronological-safe kind of geometric phase for C 6 0 fullerenes in Gödel space-times Everton Cavalcante and Jean Spinelly World Scientific Pub Co Pte Ltd In this paper, we investigate a rotating fullerene molecule with Ih symmetry within the framework of non-inertial space-times. We use a low-energy geometric theory to describe the molecule as a two-dimensional spherical space of Gödel type. Using the well-known fictitious ’t Hooft–Polyakov monopole to decouple the doublet associated with the lattice, we employ the Dirac factor method to derive a geometric phase for the fermions in the system. We also discuss the chronology protection feature of the phase through specific geometric considerations for the system.
Quantum holonomy based in a Kaluza-Klein description for defects in C<inf>60</inf>fullerenes Everton Cavalcante and Claudio Furtado World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt In this paper, we discuss a new way to get a quantum holonomy around topological defects in [Formula: see text] fullerenes. For this, we use a Kaluza–Klein extra dimension approach. Furthermore, we discuss how an extra dimension could promote the formation of new freedom degrees which would open a discussion about a possible qubits computation.
