Medet Dyusembaev is a graduate of the Kazakh-British Technical University, the Kazakhstan Humanitarian Law Innovation University, the University of Warwick (UK) and the International Business School in Madrid. He is currently working on his doctoral degree in the direction of "Technology of new materials".
He began his career in 2008 in engineering and technical positions in the petrochemical and oil and gas industries. He was a project manager at the Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, director of the technology transfer center at the National Agency for Technological Development JSC, deputy chairman of the board of the QazTech Ventures joint-stock company, head of the project management team of the World Bank and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer (now QazInnovations).
