Dr. Sampoornam. W was born in India. She earned Bsc in nursing from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, India, Msc in psychiatric nursing from the same university. She was awarded PhD in nursing from Saveetha University, Chennai, India. She earned Msc in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Tamil Nadu Open University. She was graduated Msc in psychology from Alagappa University. Currently she is professor in Annai JKKM Sampoorani Ammal College of Nursing, Namakkal, India. She has 13 years and 6 months of teaching experience for UG, PG & PhD nursing programmes. She has attended 27 conferences and workshops. She was also resource person in national & international conferences (USA, Germany, New Zealand). Hitherto she has guided 26 dissertations and 4 theses.
