    • XRD analysis confirmed a pure cubic spinel structure with no impurity phases. • FESEM analysis showed spherical grains with sizes ranging from 50 to 90 nm. Increasing Nd³⁺ concentration resulted in agglomerated particles, indicating a significant impact of doping on grain morphology. • Magnetic hysteresis studies indicated a transition from hard to soft magnetic behavior with doping. Saturation magnetization decreased (32.19 to 23.71 emu/g), and coercivity also reduced, which is beneficial for magneto-recording applications. • DC resistivity increased significantly with Nd³⁺ doping due to reduced electron hopping between Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺ ions, demonstrating semiconducting behavior. This higher resistivity is advantageous for reducing eddy current losses. • The FTIR spectra revealed shifts in absorption bands corresponding to tetrahedral and octahedral sites, indicating the successful incorporation of Nd³⁺ ions into the lattice, modifying the material's vibrational characteristics. A homogeneous composite of ferrite oxide samples with the chemical formula Mg 0.5 Zn 0.5 Fe 2-x Nd x O 4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10) was prepared via the sol-gel auto-combustion method, with Nd content varying in steps of 0.02. The Nd³⁺ ion concentration significantly influenced the Mg-Zn ferrites' magnetic properties and DC electrical resistivity. Room temperature X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis verified a pure cubic structure with an Fd3m space group, showing no traces of impurity phases. The crystallite sizes varied between 35 and 52 nm, while the lattice parameters expanded from 8.392 to 8.418 Å with higher doping levels. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) displayed spherical grains with an agglomerated structure, with grain diameters varying from 49 to 103 nm. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy showed two metallic bands consistent with cubic spinel ferrites. The magnetic properties, including coercivity (Hc), saturation magnetization (Ms), retentivity (Mr), squareness ratio (SQR), and hysteresis loops at room temperature, were analyzed using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The saturation magnetization values, which ranged from 32.19 to 23.71 emu/g, and the squareness ratio values, which ranged from 0.43 to 0.35, indicated a change from hard to soft magnets. According to a two-probe approach, the room temperature DC resistivity of the nanopowders was roughly 10 7 Ω•cm.

Due to their potential for use in numerous applications, including displays, medical imaging, lighting, and fluorescent lamps, phosphor luminescent materials especially those activated with transition metal ions— intensive research has been conducted over the last decade on these topics. Present document describes a report on the solid-state reaction method has been used to prepare nanophosphors of Ca6BP5O20:xVO2+ (x=0.01,0.03 & 0.05 mol%) and to examine the effects of vanadyl doping on structural and morphological studies using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), and photoluminescence. Both the undoped and vanadyl-doped Calcium Borophosphate (CaBP and CaBP:xVO2+) nanophosphors. According to structural characteristics, both vanadium-undoped and vanadium-doped Calcium Borophosphate (CaBP&CaBP: VO2+) nanophosphors revealed triclinic structure, and the average crystallite sizes changed from 29 nm to 22 nm with increasing vanadium doping levels. Morphological research revealed that the pictures were like particles. Tetrahedral borate groups stretching vibration modes are represented in the FT-IR spectra by bands in the range of 1085-820 cm-1, whereas trigonal planar groups are represented by bands in the range of 1378-1236 cm-1. With an excitation wavelength of 385 nm, both undoped and vanadyl-doped photoluminescence spectra show a visible exude peak at 534 nm. The chromaticity results indicate that the VO2+ -doped CaBP nanophosphors had chromaticity coordinates (x,y) of (x = 0.2149, y = 0.5607), (x = 0.2119, y = 0.4688), and (x = 0.2110, y = 0.4071), correspondingly, which were located in blue-green, green, and pale blue colour spaces. When the dopant concentration is increased from 0.01 to 0.05 mol%, the light emission characteristics change from pale blue to green. These findings showed that transition metal ion-doped phosphor materials are appropriate for use in display device applications.

Novel inorganic phosphor luminescent materials are widely used in various optoelectronic devices such as field emission displays, plasma display panels, solid state lasers, cathode‐ray tubes, and tricolor white light emitting diodes. Structural and luminescence properties of calcium borophosphate phosphors with different Fe3+ concentrations using solid state reaction technique have been investigated. X‐ray powder diffraction reveals that all samples exhibited a triclinic system of CaBP and lattice parameter analysis indicated the dopant ions may be substituted into the lattice position of the parent atom. The surface morphology of prepared nanophosphors is identified by SEM with EDS and TEM, which shows spherical‐like chains in an irregular spatial distribution with less agglomeration. Optical studies give the information about the site symmetry of dopant ions with host ligands.
