Unlocking the Power of Talent Management: Can Organizational Intelligence Drive Better Job Performance? Al Montaser Mohammad, Farah Dalain, Maan Mansour, Mohammed Jaboob TEM Journal, 2026 The purpose of this research is to determine the intervening impact of the organizational intelligence with respect to talent management practices and the performance of the employees in the scope of pharmaceutical businesses in Jordan. Using a structured questionnaire, descriptive and analytical techniques were employed to find information from the pertinent population of managers, deputy managers and overall department heads. 150 valid responses were achieved and examined. The findings indicate a positive correlation between employees, competitive advantage, and job success. When employees’ skills are correctly identified and effectively utilized in appropriate roles, organizations tend to achieve superior performance, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry. This research study is mostly limited to the pharmaceutical industry in Jordan, hence, the generalization of the findings may be an issue. Further studies should seek how these findings would apply in other industries and even regions. This study offers and important perspective on the organizational intelligence as a mediator between talent management and job performance, aiding in the formulation of strategies on how the organizations can enhance performance through the proper acquisition and utilization of manpower.
Adoption of social media as a learning technology in maritime education Al Montaser Mohammad, Nurul Amirah Fitrah Sohaimi, Masha Nur Salsabiela Menhat, Effi Helmy Ariffin Maritime Technology and Research, 2026 This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the intention to use social media for learning among maritime students. It examines and applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to examine key constructs such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, and enjoyment. The goal is to offer information that can guide the incorporation of social media into educational strategies in maritime and related fields. The study applies the TAM to explore students' intentions to use social media for learning. A questionnaire based on TAM constructs was administered to 104 maritime students at University Malaysia Terengganu. The data were analyzed to test hypotheses about the relationships among key factors, including perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment. The findings revealed that the most preferred social media platforms for learning are WhatsApp, YouTube, and Facebook. The model demonstrated a good fit, with seven out of nine hypotheses supported. However, perceived enjoyment did not significantly influence the intention to use or the attitude toward using social media for learning. The study is limited to maritime students at a single Malaysian university, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Future research could explore diverse student populations and additional factors influencing social media adoption for learning. This study contributes to understanding how social media can be effectively integrated into educational practices. These insights provide practical guidance for designing learning models that leverage social media technologies to enhance educational outcomes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------Cite this article: Mohammad, A. Maritime Technology and Research, 8(1), 281935. https://doi.org/10.33175/mtr.2026.281935 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HighlightsThis study presented the most preferred social media platform for learning, according to maritime management students. WhatsApp is the most preferred social media platform for learning, followed by Facebook and YouTube. The findings explained the factors that influence ITU social media for learning among maritime students according to the extended TAM, which are PU, PEOU, JR, and ITU, whereas the other three factors consist of external variables, which are PE, EXP, and attitudes toward use. Additionally, attitudes toward use (AOU) are actually influenced by PU, PEOU, and PE factors, where students who are eager and responsible for their learning want to use social media tools to be easy to use and access, social media to be mostly user friendly, and sufficient information on certain subjects to be provided and be useful for group study or socializing with other friends.
The role of supply chain collaborative in enhancing sustainability through supply chain risk management Abdulrahman Al-Kharabsheh, Ibrahim Mkheimer, Nasser Assaf, Abdullah Alkhrabsheh, Al Montaser Mohammad Production, 2026 Paper aims The study aims to provide actions and research directions in the area of supply chain collaboration and sustainability, with a focus on the effect of supply chain risk management. Originality The findings provide a theoretical bridge between supply chain collaboration literature and sustainability theory by demonstrating that collaboration fosters sustainable performance through risk management, and emphasizes collaboration as a sustainability driver. Research method The study employed a stratified sampling technique with a total of 288 completed questionnaires were received from seven manufacturing firms, using a 5-point Likert scale. The sample was those practitioners who are exposed to supply chain management and sustainability. Main findings The results find that supply chain collaboration positively influences sustainability, and that information sharing, resource sharing, collaborative communication, and joint knowledge creation—as components of supply chain collaboration—also positively influence sustainability. Implications for theory and practice The research adds to the body of knowledge by integrating collaboration as a critical enabler of effective risk management. For practitioners, the study highlights that sustainability should not be viewed separately from risk management. Managers should integrate collaborative risk management practices to achieve sustainability.
Digital transformation capability and employee turnover intentions: the role of knowledge management capability and digital leadership Al Montaser Mohammad, Ali Mohsin Salim Ba Awain, Ali Said Jaboob, Ibrahim Mkheimer, Masha Menhat Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, 2025 PurposeThe primary objective of this research is to examine the effects of digital transformation capability (DTC) on employee turnover intention (ETI) in Jordanian universities. Based on the social cognitive theory (SCT). The study also investigates the mediated moderation role of knowledge management capability (KMC) and digital leadership (DL) in the relationship between DTC and ETI.Design/methodology/approachA survey questionnaire was used to obtain data from 384 faculty members at Jordanian universities in Jordan, and the SmartPLS4 and SPSS software were used to test the hypotheses.FindingsThe results reveal that DTC significantly mitigates ETI through providing a favourable environment for knowledge sharing and innovation. Using DL as a moderator, the results show that the relationship between DTC and ETI becomes stronger in the presence of high DL.Originality/valueThis research uniquely integrates SCT to explore the combined impact of DTC, KMC and DL on faculty turnover intentions at Jordanian universities. It offers novel viewpoints on retaining academic staff by implementing smart digital attempts.
Understanding mobile banking adoption via the technology acceptance model: evidence from Jordan Bara Waleed Rababa, Azwadi Ali, Al Montaser Mohammad Banks and Bank Systems, 2025 This paper studies the use of mobile banking in Jordan and the factors affecting its adoption through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It examines user behavior across new banking technologies and resistance to adoption, focusing on factors such as perceived ease of use, usefulness, cost, social influence, and trust. The study employed convenience sampling because of privacy restrictions and the lack of a reliable customer database. 498 individuals completed a structured questionnaire, and 437 of them provided valid answers (87.8%). Using a 5-point Likert scale, the questionnaire evaluated demographic information and opinions about the adoption of mobile banking. The responses were analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results reveal that perceived usefulness is a key predictor of the willingness of the Jordanian population to adopt mobile banking. Perceived risk also positively impacts mobile banking usage, while perceived ease of use presents a moderate but significant barrier to adoption. Perceived ease of use also has a significant influence on perceived usefulness, which mediates its effect on adoption. While social influence plays an important role in adopting mobile banking services, trust does not directly affect the intention to use these services.
STRATEGIC AGILITY ON INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOUR IN THE JORDANIAN UNIVERSITIES: A MEDIATED-MODERATED MODEL Farah DALAIN, Maan MANSOUR, Al Montaser MOHAMMAD, and Geojournal of Tourism and Geosites, 2025 In today's global context, the higher education sector grapples with new demands and obstacles, prompting the search for innovative solutions. To investigate how academics' behavioural variables influence universities' innovative behaviour, this study sought to investigate the impacts of strategic agility on innovative work behaviour in Jordanian universities, with servant leadership serving as mediating and psychological capital as moderating. A total of 371 academics from ten public universities were chosen using stratified random sampling. To evaluate the provided hypotheses, the questionnaire data was analysed using SmartPLS 3.0's partial least squares structural equation modelling. The findings validated the connection between strategic agility, servant leadership, and innovative workplace behaviour. In addition, it emphasised the mediating role of servant leadership between strategic agility and innovative work behaviour. Similarly, it indicated the moderating impact of psychological capital between strategic agility and innovative work behaviour. Notably, the findings highlight the importance of psychological capital in generating innovative workplace behaviour in higher education. Without strong support from university management, innovation may decline due to a lack of strategic agility and leadership. The research underscores the need for greater collaboration among faculty, administration, and students to overcome barriers and foster innovation. This study contributes to the understanding of how strategic agility, servant leadership, and psychological capital interact to influence innovative work behaviour in Jordanian universities.
