Wing Yap went to Bradford University to study Biochemistry and got an MA in Pharmaceutical Science there. When he started working as a pharmacist his first year out of college, 19 years ago, he got hands-on experience with managing prescriptions, talking to doctors, and keeping in touch with clients to make sure they followed the rules to the letter. Then, Wing Yap became the assistant pharmacy manager, where he learned a lot about filling and giving out prescriptions, helping customers, managing inventory, and other things. Today, he works as a Pharmacy Manager at GolfRoad Pharmacy. In this role, he oversees all of the pharmacy staff, hires and trains new people to grow the team, communicates with doctors and patients to make sure the right dose is given and to avoid bad interactions, and promotes our services, among other things.
