    E3s Web of Conferences, 2023
This study is to establish the best conditions for in vitro propagation by inducing direct organogenesis of “Thornfree” blackberry (Rubus fruticosusL.) using different doses of plant growth regulators, which affect the regeneration of shoots in compound nutrient medium of mineral salts Murashige and Skoog (MS). Young leaves were used as explants. In the initiation phase, plant material necessary for the experiment was obtained, using an MS nutrient medium enriched with 0.5 mg. l-1of BAP, after 30 days’ leaves were obtained that were introduced in regeneration medium where the effect of BAP (1 and 2 mg. l-1) was evaluated in combination with AIA (0.5 mg. l-1) and TDZ (0.5 mg. l-1). The highest number of shoots with an average of 6.40 and oxidation percentage of 7.41% was achieved. In the proliferation phase no significant statistical differences were observed, however, the optimum performance attained for the number of buds was obtained with a concentration of 2 mg. l-1of BAP, having an average shoot-length of 6.10 cm and a rooting percentage of over 80%.
  • Study on ontogenetic changes in the content of macro components (Proteins, oil and sugar) of vegetable soybean (glycine max L. merr.) seeds
    Research on Crops, 2020
Based on this, a three-year study was conducted from 2016 to 2018 at Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Federal Scientific Vegetable Center”, Moscow, Russia to evaluate the total accumulation of protein, oil and monosaccharides as the main macro components in the stage of technical (R6) and biological (R8) ripeness of vegetable soybean seeds which are directly used for food. The content of protein, fats and monosaccharides in the R6-stage of vegetable forms of soybeans were 29.4%, 10.5% and 15.6%, respectively, while their protein content and oil content were 9.5% and 51.4% in grain varieties, as well as the content of monosaccharides in vegetable forms exceeded the same indicator in grain varieties by 29.1% (in relative values). During the transition of plants from the R6 to R8-stage, an increase in the accumulation of all macro components were observed, however, it was not the same in breeding varieties. In the R8-stage, the accumulation of protein, fat and sugars in vegetable soybeans were 45.9%, 15.6%, 18.6%, respectively; at the same time, the content of protein and monosaccharides in the grain varieties exceeded by 15.7% and 20.4% (in relative values), respectively, and the oil content of seeds was less by 22.0% (in relative values). It could be concluded that vegetable-type of soybean has other patterns of accumulation of the macro components in the seeds, different from the grain-type varieties of soybean in the Central region of the Non-chernozem zone of Russia.
  • Analysis of dynamic of tropospheric ozone and nitrogen dioxide in the highest region of the Quito city
    Cristian Salazar, Freddy Mullo
    E3s Web of Conferences, 2020
A descriptive study of behavior of daily concentrations of ozone (O3) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in the period from January 2017 to December 2019 was conducted with the purpose to describe air pollution in the south of the city of Quito. The data collected was processed using the Excel and SPSS v25. The statistical analysis included central tendency values, percentages of violation of the threshold limit value (TLV), maximum values and 25th, 75th and 95th percentiles. The correlation between pollutants was evaluated using the Spearman’s Rho coefficient. Multiple linear regression models were made for each pollutant and meteorological variables (wind speed and mean ambient temperature). Inverse moderate correlation was found between the contaminants analyzed. The daily and monthly concentrations of O3 and NO2 were lower than the TLV, therefore, the air quality in the period studied with respect to the analyzed pollutants is satisfactory.
  • Possibilities of using sentinel-2 satellite data to estimate crop cover and LAI of winter wheat at different stages of development
    Feddy Mullo, Elena Prudnikova
    E3s Web of Conferences, 2020
The study was conducted on a test plot located in the Yasnogorodsky district of the Tula Region; With a camera with fisheye lens photographs were taken at different points of the plot, each point with a geographical reference. Subsequently, the possible relationship between the information extracted from the classification of the photographs using the CAN-EYE software (LAI, percentage of vegetation) and the vegetation indices (Ratio, NDVI, SAVI and EVI) calculated with spectral values obtained from the different channels of Sentinel-2 (B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B8a) were evaluated. Finally, best regression models obtained for each phase of the winter wheat development were used to create the maps of LAI and percentage of vegetation. According to our results, Sentinel-2 can be successfully used to map LAI in the studied region at the shooting stage of winter wheat development with accuracy of 85 %. At other stages and for percentage of vegetation the accuracy of the models was below 50 %.
