  • Balancing Automation and Human Touch: Strategies for Nurturing the Human Element in an AI-augmented Workplace
Manisha Singh, Sonali Srivastava, Supriya Paigude, Sachin Prakash Srivastava
Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Data Driven Decision Making in Hr for Revolutionizing Organizational Growth, 2025
Purpose: The chapter outlines diverse strategies to nurture and maintain the human element in the 21st-century workplace amidst advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and other rapidly evolving technologies that are continually redefining the skill sets of workers in modern workplaces. Need for the study: The chapter makes the case that algorithms cannot fully capture the importance of human touch and expert performance in meeting workplace needs and objectives. The existing literature misses this significance. Methodology: The authors have adopted descriptive research that conceptualizes a plausible future AI-augmented workplace, followed by qualitative synthesis which investigates the factors that would lead to successful augmentation, and addresses the need for balancing automation and the human touch. Findings: In new research on the future of work, we identified the unique roles that are – almost exclusively – performed by people. These roles require special skills, including those that cannot currently be handled by machines, as well as a human connection that is hard to automate, and roles that are life-altering. Practical implications: Explored for developing professionals and leaders, as well as for recruiters and consultants who strive to secure a sustainable future at work by balancing automation and the human touch.
  • Empowered ownership: The impact of employee ownership on environmental and social sustainability
Supriya Dhananjay Paigude, Smita Pangarkar, Sachin Prakash Srivastava
Organizational Models Cultural Dynamics and Csr Applications in Employee Owned Enterprises, 2025
Employee ownership can be seen as a tool to build and utilize the power to employee strengthen & power, expand wealth. This model will also deepen employee engagement and bring in more value to business. Previous studies have not established a similar stance on the favourable impact of employee ownership on environmental and social sustainability. Moreover, researchers contend that sustainability is a multifaceted notion for organisations, considering an organisational ownership structure, it may be argued that the impact of ownership might vary across different dimensions of sustainability. Ownership can exhibit both responsible and irresponsible behaviour in relation to organisational corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the micro level and sustainability at the macro level simultaneously. This book chapter proposal aims to address these research concerns through comprehensive analysis in order to ascertain the impact of employee ownership on environmental and social sustainability.
  • Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies (BRICS): Unveiling Opportunities Amid Challenges
Sachin Prakash Srivastava, Sonali Srivastava, Himanshu Varshney, Supriya Paigude
    Synergy of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, 2024
Emerging economies often face challenges of suboptimal resource allocation, socioeconomic disparities, and deficiencies in healthcare and social welfare provisions. India's journey to become the third-largest start-up ecosystem globally clearly demonstrates how entrepreneurship has successfully tackled these difficulties. Nevertheless, using sustainable business concepts in entrepreneurial activities is crucial for sustainably addressing these challenges. Conventional business beliefs chase only profit motives, but sustainable entrepreneurship promotes a fundamental change in the belief that businesses may achieve financial gain while safeguarding the environment by focusing on people, profit, and the planet. This chapter has elucidated the significance of sustainable entrepreneurship in alleviating social and economic inadequacies in developing nations. Additionally, it explores the growing opportunities that arise from implementing circular economy and SDG objectives.

International Journal on Recent and Innovation Trends in Computing and Communication, 2023
Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform the human resource (HR) industry by automating routine tasks, improving decision-making, and enhancing employee engagement and retention. In this paper, we explore the use of machine learning and deep learning techniques to boost employee retention in the HR industry. We review the current state of the art in AI for HR, including the use of predictive analytics, natural language processing, and chatbots for talent management and employee development. We also discuss the challenges and ethical considerations of using AI in HR, including issues of bias and the need for transparent and explainable algorithms. Finally, we present case studies of successful AI-powered HR initiatives that have demonstrated improvements in employee retention and engagement. Our findings suggest that AI has the potential to significantly enhance employee retention in the HR industry, but its implementation requires careful planning and consideration of potential risks and ethical issues.

ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, 2022
Industry professionals predict that the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning will significantly impact people's lives in the near future. They believe that it will allow individuals and organizations to perform more efficiently by improving their processes and making them more effective at their jobs. Machine learning could help improve employees' work-life balance by allowing them to perform more efficiently at their jobs. It could also increase the general quality of their lives. What would be the outcome of an experiment involving machine learning to find ways to improve the balance between work and life? The study aimed to analyze individuals' subjective feelings about work-life balance. Through a machine learning method, the researchers could identify the characteristics influencing the balance between work and life. They then used a forecasting model to analyze the data and determine how much women in the IT industry observe a work-life balance. The study was conducted on 150 female IT professionals. The researchers used a questionnaire to gather information about the participants. They then used various deep-learning models to analyze the data. The researchers analyzed the models' performance by calculating the mean absolute and square errors. They found that the models known as the Multilayer Perceptron and the Long Short-term Memory performed well in terms of their accuracy when forecasting future business conditions. Comparing the two models revealed that the Short-Term Long Memory performed better than the MLP in terms of accuracy. This finding could be beneficial for studies related to the behavior of organizations.
