Dropping out of university studies is present all over the world and is considered a problem of social impact that affects the student's economy, the family and the State. In recent years, the health crisis due to COVID-19 and socio-political problems have increased university dropout in some countries. The present study systematically and comprehensively explored primary studies on the factors and variables involved in dropping out of university students. The research was reviewed in the Latin American context in the last ten years, in the following databases: Scielo, Web of Science, and ProQuest. The selection and inclusion of the 21 studies was carried out according to the scoping review methodology. The findings show a positive trend in the last three years in the production of articles; the factors and associated variables were grouped according to the recommendations of the ALFA-GUIA project for a better understanding. It is concluded that factors and variables such as: Academic: academic performance, Individual: lack of motivation, Economic: family economic support, and Institutional: academic and psychological support are the main factors when deciding to abandon a university career.

The objective of the study was to analyze the role of mothers in preschool education before and after the pandemic. The design used was descriptive-comparative with a qualitative approach. Nine mothers of preschool children from two public educational institutions in Lima-Peru participated. The verbal data was collected through in-depth interviews. Four subcategories were found: support in homework, support in learning activities, expectations and concerns, needs in terms of resources and forms of communication. In conclusion, before the pandemic, education was primarily teacher-centered. Currently, due to the lack of psychomotor, socioemotional, and communicative development caused by the pandemic, mothers are more involved and understand that the roles of parents and teachers are shared to ensure children's learning.

The purpose of the study was to systematically map the available knowledge on the characteristics of the primary studies of integrity in research (RI) in universities. A systematic mapping of empirical studies indexed Scopus and Web of Science databases over the past ten years. Among the findings is the growing trend of producing original articles on IR, although it remains low compared to other types of document found in the initial search. There is also in exploring perspectives and attitudes integrity violations and the ways to prevent them. This study serves as a reference to other researchers wish to study with mixed methods or integrate approaches ethical approaches in order to better understand and develop new ways of promoting and educating academics, researchers and stakeholders in the university environment worldwide in relation to ethics and research integrity.

In response to SDG 4 which seeks quality education, differentiation as a pedagogical approach to broad contexts of students with and without learning problems, it is necessary for teachers to know the differentiated strategies that allow them to satisfy the educational needs of students. The main objective of this work was to provide a systematization of the scope of the literature on differentiated methodological strategies for inclusive education in basic education, according to the journals indexed in the database Scopus, Web of Science, and Eric, taking as its beginning the year 1999, the year of the internationalization of the term differentiation with the work of Tomlinson. The Prisma methodology was applied, selecting 78 investigations and 30 articles as the final sample. For the purposes of synthesis and analysis of the findings, 6 macro categories have been categorized: in the context of each country, in school study areas, in the classroom, differentiated strategies, over-age and effective strategies, and disability. In conclusion, it was found that in various scenarios, attention to diversity through differentiated strategies benefits learning.

The purpose of the study was to describe the experiences of teachers in the distance teaching-learning process in early childhood education during the covid-19 pandemic The methodology used was qualitative descriptive Interviews were conducted with thirteen teachers from four state educational institutions at the infant level in Lima city through the virtual platform As a result of the data analysis, five subcategories emerged: Emotions in remote teaching at the beginning of the school year during the pandemic, communication between teachers and families for student learning, management and adaptation of remote teaching-learning, be a teacher of childhood education during the pandemic, and accompaniment in the teaching-learning process In conclusion, the distance teaching-learning experience of teachers at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic is characterized by the presence of certain negative emotions and attitudes towards their educational work;however, self-training on digital and computer resources and empathy with families have improved the generation of learning situations in children © 2021 ASTES Publishers All rights reserved
