Dr. Aliy Abdulwahid Adebisi is a senior lecturer of Arabic Language and Translation Studies, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. His research focuses on Arabic Language/Literature & Translation with three working languages Arabic; English and Yoruba. He has published widely in translation most recently is, the translation of Yoruba novel “Igbo Olodumare by D. O. Fagunwa” into Arabic language. He is a current National President and fellow, Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters, a PG coodinator, Institute for Translation Arts, University of Ilorin, an associate FUSP - Nida Centre for Advanced Research on Translation Italy, an Immediate past National treasurer, Academic Society for Arabic Language and Literature in Nigeria (ASALLIN), an awardee of British Academy on African Translation writing Workshop Grant in Stellenbosch University, South Africa, a member of European Society for Translation Studies, a PRO Association of Translation studies in Nigeria, a member of Association fo
