Adeosun Hezekiah Olufemi is an indigene of Ogun State, Nigeria. He joined the service of the University of Ilorin in 2001 as a Graduate Assistant. He rose through the ranks to become Professor of Yoruba Studies & Socio-semiotics in 2019. He was the Ag. HOD in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, University of Ilorin between 2017 and 2019. He is currently Director, Institute of Translation Arts, University of Ilorin.
