Professor R.O. Arise had his primary Education at Demonstration Primary School, Saint Johns Mary Schools, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria between 1980 and 1985. He then proceeded to the African Church Grammar School, Oka-Akoko, Ondo State between 1986 and 1991. He later attended the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State from 1992 to 1998 where he bagged a B.Sc. (Biochemistry) in March, 1998 and later M.Sc. in Biochemistry in OcMy team research focus is on projects involving drug developments for some non-communicable diseases (diabetes, hypertension and ulcer) as well as malaria. My laboratory also carries out proteomic profiling for the identification of some therapeutic peptides and proteins as well as researches focusing on investigation of the kinetics and interactive roles of some metal ions, natural and derivatized ligands on the activities of some enzymes and their efficacy and safety evaluations towards finding solutions to some chronic diseases and environmental health challenges
