I am an accomplished Engineer of Agriculture and Environment with a strong academic background and a passion for sustainable practices. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from Zamzam University, I have dedicated four years to agricultural engineering at a reputable research center. Through research and innovative techniques, I contribute to sustainable farming practices. As Vice-President of SOMPA, I actively promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts. Pursuing Master's degrees in Crop Science and Environmental Management, I aim to deepen my expertise and tackle environmental challenges effectively. My commitment to continuous learning drives me to make a positive impact in the field of agriculture and environment.

FUTURE PROJECTS

Transforming Somali’s Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

This project endeavors productivity increase of the medicinal and aromatic sector by bringing knowledge and introducing new varieties and adapted technologies. The project has a focus on agronomical measures and sees a future role for the development of the country. Currently the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic crops is demonstrated on a limited scale in ‘Learning Sites’.
