Jozef Stefan Institute
Research professional with a doctoral degree in Physics from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, India. Expertise in the field of experimental condensed matter & material physics focusing on photocatalysis, resistive switching, plasmonic sensing, & energy storage capacitors. Awardee of Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellowship, DST-INSPIRE doctoral fellowship, and DST-INSPIRE scholarship.
My PhD research work is focused on improving the photocatalytic efficiency of MoO3 thin film photocatalyst via its integration with ferroelectric BaTiO3 and plasmonic Ag nanoparticles for dye degradation applications. I also have experience in resistive switching (memristors), plasmonic sensing and energy storage capacitors during my doctoral research. I have research expertise in material synthesis especially thin films, fabrication of heterostructures and hands-on experience in various material characterization techniques.
