Olusogo Popoola is a Lecturer 1 in Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds a B.Eng. degree in Electrical/Electronics and M.Sc. in Computer and Network Engineering. He is a Registered Engineer (COREN), a Member NSE, IEEE, IET; a Certified FOT and IBM certified Application Security Engineer and Analyst. Prior to his employment in computer engineering, he was a web and email administrator for decades, an ICT administrator and researcher e.g., rendered 1st/2nd /3rd line technical support on the campus-wide network infrastructure; performed CERT and CSIRT administration, co-reviewed ICT policy/strategic plan quinquennially and promote compliance. Earlier, he co-supervised the SCADA and EGM projects of three years on UBIT and ASABO offshore wellhead platform, ExxonMobil-NG for well monitoring and control. Research area includes Secure Information-centric Networking, IoT Security and Ethics, and Lightweight Cryptosystems.
Holds a B.Eng. degree in Electrical/Electronics and M.Sc. in Computer and Network Engineering.
