Environmental sustainability and digital ecosystem in the context of globalization Viktor Zinchenko, Oleksandr Polishchuk, Olha Yaroshenko, Pavlo Samoilenko, Yuliia Rudenko, Tetiana Korshevniuk E3s Web of Conferences, 2025 It is established that at the present stage of natural resource management contributes to the formation of a new model of the world and in this process the leading role is given to education, in particular environmental. The conceptual basis of globalization in the environmental crisis is revealed. It is proved that the processes of protection of the natural environment in the face of globalization take different forms and opportunities, form trajectories of international cooperation and collective action, generate new phenomena, promote the formation of ecological consciousness through access to the so called green digital platforms. At the same time, education, in particular environmental, plays an important role, because it is one of the socio-political institutions responsible for a future person's formation, contributes to the formation of eco-oriented science and man who has a different perception of the world. The individual begins to perceive herself as part of biodiversity and, on this basis, forms a specific system of thinking and attitudes toward the world. The advantage in this system is given to values that are dominant in the eco-oriented world. In this case, the system of environmental education and science creates new opportunities: expanded ways of access to information; many digital platforms have been created, where applicants have the opportunity to travel the world, to get acquainted with various environmental, economic problems, to model their solution; conduct various laboratory and environmental studies; involve people from other countries in different scientific projects and more. Thanks to environmental digitalization and other factors, this kind of public diplomacy has emerged as educational, which in the modern world plays a leading role in the formation of a civilization person in the multicultural space of the globalized world. Important in this context is V. Vernadskyi's doctrine of the noosphere, which covers the biosphere and technosphere, where a person is armed with scientific knowledge and technologies, becomes the key actor and determines the evolution of the planet. It is proved that digitalization provides the conditions for obtaining knowledge, information about certain environmental processes, despite the time and space. After all, thanks to digital technologies, a person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of the noosphere, regardless of place, time of his stay. Environmental digitization allows you to use resources more efficiently, create innovative strategies for sustainable development and through education, improve the environmental status at the global level. It is an integral part of the modern world and puts in the center of the technological process the importance of preserving the planet.
Towards a new anthropocene: the intersection of human evolution and environmental stewardship in the information era Viktor Zinchenko, Oleksandr Polishchuk, Olena Yakovleva, Olena Slyusarenko, Yuliia Rudenko, Natalia Lakusha E3s Web of Conferences, 2024 The impact of digital technologies on society, the environment, and individuals has been examined. It has been demonstrated that the processes of digitalization serve as a medium for human development and influence the transformation of social relations; advancement of digital technologies has enabled the alteration of social relations in the realms of ecology, economics, politics, and the management of social and natural resources. It has been established that the issues of the information society began to interest society and scientists since the 60s of the 20th century, especially when the results of digital technologies development massively entered the human ontology, becoming a part of it. Such a flurry of digitization of social life and technologies determined the period of society’s development and raised questions of anthropology, in particular, what a person of the information age should be and how he/she should be characterized. Scientific principles and methods were used to elucidate these and other questions, to scientifically substantiate worldview ideas: concreteness, integrity, historicism, rationality, comparison, and constructive criticism. In their totality and interaction, they contributed to high-quality research and the formation of scientific conclusions: the formation of Homo digitalis is due to the processes of digitalization, which are the basis of such concepts as the global village, the state in a smartphone, etc. It is noted that in the conditions of digitalization, not only the person changes, but also the traditional system of social relationships undergoes changes, the perception of the world, space, value orientations, etc. change. In fact, a new world is being created that will meet the interests of digital man. Identity becomes more complicated, becoming unstable and short-lived. The perspective of introducing modern technologies into all spheres of human life has been evaluated. It has been proven that the digitalization of the modern world in real practical life allows achieving a balance between the three factors of civilizational progress: social, economic and ecological.
Interactive Boards as Digital Tools in the Modern Educational Process Yuliia Rudenko, Karen Ahadzhanov-Honsales, Svitlana Ahadzhanova, Alla Batalova, Yevhenii Diemientiev, Olena Semenikhina 2024 47th ICT and Electronics Convention Mipro 2024 Proceedings, 2024 This article highlights the features of using interactive boards in higher education institutions. The expediency of incorporating interactive boards into the educational process is substantiated through the analysis of scientific publications. The most common practices of using interactive boards in distance learning are described. The results of a survey of educators from higher education institutions in the Sumy region regarding the selection of interactive boards for student education are presented. It is confirmed that the choice of interactive boards depends on the convenience of the interface and toolkit, the ability to organize group/project activities, and communication between the subjects of the educational process. Technical and pedagogical conditions for the application of interactive boards are characterized. The results of a comprehensive study of Padlet and Trello interactive boards are provided based on a series of indicators: clarity, adaptability to the educational process, security, feedback, and others. The comprehensive study was conducted based on a SWOT analysis in the directions of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The results of the SWOT analysis allowed for the identification of promising directions for the use of interactive boards, anticipating problems, and maximizing opportunities for improving student education organization.
Study of Factors Supporting Students' Motivation in the Formation of Information Hygiene Yuliia Rudenko, Nelia Dehtiarova, Ivan Bekh, Kateryna Zhurba, Shabaldas Oleksii, Roman Pasichnyi 2024 47th ICT and Electronics Convention Mipro 2024 Proceedings, 2024 The article deals with studying the nature of motivation and the factors capable of supporting it. The nature of motivation was studied in the formation of information hygiene of students in non-formal education. In the example of mastering the informal education course “Information Hygiene”, the structure of motivation and the factors that allow it to be maintained throughout the entire learning process are studied. A pedagogical experiment was conducted, which consisted of three stages: 1) Motivational measures were conducted, which substantiated the importance of information hygiene for students. 2) In three groups, under the influence of various motivational factors, students studied courses on the formation of information hygiene. 2) The quality of knowledge and the level of students’ motivation were checked after completing the courses. Based on the results of the conducted experiment, the conclusions were formulated: the following factors had the best effect on supporting the motivation to master the information hygiene course throughout the learning process: encouragement, reward, creation of a situation of success, recognition, and support. Factors that had the least influence on motivation support: positive emotional mood and availability of freedom of choice. Control slices of knowledge and a survey of students of experimental groups confirmed the obtained results.
MODELING THE CHOICE OF AN ONLINE COURSE FOR INFORMATION HYGIENE SKILLS USING THE SAATY METHOD Yuliia Rudenko, Karen Ahadzhanov-Honsales, Svitlana Ahadzhanova, Alla Batalova, Olena Bieliaieva, Artem Yurchenko, Olena Semenikhina Informatyka Automatyka Pomiary W Gospodarce I Ochronie Srodowiska, 2024 The development of IT has led to the emergence of digital educational platforms that offer a variety of training courses. Among such courses are information hygiene courses relevant for Ukrainian citizens (the hybrid war causes demand to counteract information influences). The problem becomes the choice of such a course that would best meet the needs of the consumers of the course. The task of choosing a course is unstructured and multicritorial. Therefore, to solve it, it seems reasonable to use the Saaty (hierarchy analysis) method to solve problems of choosing the best alternative among the proposed ones. The authors substantiate the feasibility of using the Saaty method to select an online course and build a model of the educational task for choosing an online course according to the selected criteria. The model is based on five criteria and three alternatives (three various courses, A1–A3). Expert assessment from three experts is presented. The results of the pedagogical experiment are given (data from three student groups). The Saaty method has proven effective in solving choice tasks in the educational process. Therefore, mastering the method is recommended for the teacher, the mentor, or the facilitator.
Effective Educational Ukrainian Practices of the Formation of Media Literacy Yu. Rudenko, S. Ahadzhanova, K. Ahadzhanov-Honsales, O. Bieliaieva, A. Korovai, O. Semenikhina 2023 46th ICT and Electronics Convention Mipro 2023 Proceedings, 2023 The article touches on the problem of forming the younger generation ’s media literacy. It is shown that in order to solve it, it is necessary to: develop the critical thinking of young people regarding the consumption, verification, and evaluation of media products; to form the ability to resist manipulation, destructive influences, and hostile propaganda; to develop a culture of interaction in the Internet space and the ability to protect one’s own information space. A workshop developed by a team of authors and the methodology of the practicum are described: the logical sequence of classes (motivation, encouragement to study; teaching practical techniques; checking the results; reflection); forms and methods of learning (quizzes, competitions, training, master classes). It is shown that the following are important for the successful implementation of the workshop: interactivity, game methods, learning techniques for emotional relief, learning by example, and real media products. The effectiveness of the workshop has been confirmed. The dynamics of achievements have shown significant positive changes in the ability to distinguish facts from judgments and to identify inaccurate information. The number of students who realized the responsibility for spreading unverified information and the importance of creating an adequate own information space also increased.
Analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment on the integrated analysis of the average and dispersions Vira Petruk, , Yuliia Rudenko, Artem Yurchenko, Inna Kharchenko, Serhii Kharchenko, Olena Semenikhina International Journal of Modern Education and Computer Science, 2022 Pedagogical scientists often need to process the results of a pedagogical experiment.However, not every scientist (especially in humanitarianism) has appropriate mathematical training, so statistical data processing is a problem for him.Scientists-pedagogues in Ukraine use various statistical methods to process the results of a pedagogical experiment and face the problem of cumbersome calculations and the accuracy of assessments.Therefore, we developed a method that is based on the correct mathematical apparatus, simplifies the processing of empirical data, and allows us to draw qualitative conclusions without the explicit use of mathematical apparatus.To simplify the statistical analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment and the interpretation of the obtained data, the authors suggest using a spreadsheet and analyzing the data according to Student's and Fisher's criteria (comparing the average sample and its variance) and controlling intermediate indicators of the results of the pedagogical experiment.The method developed by the authors has an advantage compared to other methods: it is enough to analyze the pair "mean and variance" for the sample to conclude the significance of the differences in the control and experimental groups.The method has a simple implementation since almost every researcher has a spreadsheet processor on his computer.The method does not require a thorough knowledge of the statistics course.The method guarantees more reasonable conclusions (two criteria are used at once), which is important when conducting a pedagogical experiment.
Using Web Quests in Professional Training Student-Managers Yu. Rudenko, O. Naboka, S. Petrenko, M. Ostroha, M. Pronikova, O. Semenikhina 2022 45th Jubilee International Convention on Information Communication and Electronic Technology Mipro 2022 Proceedings, 2022 The article confirms the effectiveness of the use of gaming technologies in the preparation of students of economic specialties. The article presents the web quest game technology, which is positioned as a game form of educational activity that allows us to solve problematic problems of an applied nature. The advantages of using web quests as an effective form of learning have been substantiated. Their positive influence on the intensity of acquiring new knowledge, the compensatory (emotional) effect of information educational overload was confirmed. A comparative analysis of online services (vseosvita.ua, Learnis, Gennially) for creating web quests based on various criteria was carried out: functionality, design, the level of complexity of developing a quest for a teacher, the possibility of creative solutions, the availability of tools for reflection, the ability to use incentive tools. Recommendations for creating a web quest are described. The results of a pedagogical experiment on the use of a series of web quests in the study of the discipline "Electronic commerce" for college students are presented.
Online Learning with the Eyes of Teachers and Students in Educational Institutions of Ukraine Yuliia Rudenko, Olha Naboka, Larysa Korolova, Khana Kozhukhova, Olena Kazakevych, Olena Semenikhina TEM Journal, 2021 The article presents an analysis of the attitude of teachers and students, colleges and universities to distance learning during the 2020 in Ukraine. The factors of the success of online learning were analyzed. The main stress factors were identified. Analysis of the results of the dynamics of opinions led to some conclusions and recommendations: for teachers regarding self-development; for school administrations regarding technical, organizational, and moral support for all participants in the educational process; for universities that provide professional training for future teachers.
