Stock market volatility in India using telecom stocks during the Russian and Ukraine war - An event analysis R. Padmaja, R. S. Ch. Murthy Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 Volatility is the standard deviation of a stock’s annualized returns over a given period and shows the range in which its price may increase or decrease. If the price of a stock fluctuates rapidly in a short period, hitting new highs and lows, it is said to have high volatility. Volatility refers to how quickly markets move, and it is a metric that is closely watched by traders. More volatile stocks imply a greater degree of risk and potential losses. Standard deviation is the most common way to measure market volatility, and traders can use Bollinger Bands to analyze standard deviation. If the stock price moves higher or lowers more slowly, or stays relatively stable, it is said to have low volatility. Historic volatility is calculated using a series of past market prices, while implied volatility looks at expected future volatility, using the market price of a market-traded derivative like an option. The study explores share price volatility as an indicator of economic stability in a developing country setting. This study examines the share price volatility of five selected telecom companies listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The study period was during the Russian & Ukraine war. The results demonstrate that share price volatility is significantly influenced by the price earnings ratio along with earnings per share.

Findings: The study is restricted to consider only the share prices of the stocks on dividend announcement day. The study is confined to 10 selected cement industries which are listed in National Stock Exchange. The study period consists of 10 years, i.e., 2013-2022.
Determining the impact of remote work on employees’ work-life balance: A study on one of the mid-level information technology organizations in Hyderabad R. Padmaja, R. S. Ch. Murthy Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 This study aims to determine how a Hyderabad-based medium-sized IT company addresses concerns about remote workers’ work-life balance. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data was collected through structured questionnaires from 175 participants across different experience levels. In order to determine the effect, the researchers used ordinary least squares regression analysis. The research showed that work-life balance is much improved by working remotely more often, having more flexibility, and having support from inside the organization. However, challenges such as excessive meeting demands, workload, and extended working hours were identified, particularly among senior-level employees. The findings underscore the importance of tailored interventions to mitigate negative impacts and optimize remote work arrangements. Recommendations include implementing flexible “no-meeting” days, virtual wellness programs, automated workload management systems, flexible remote work policies, and peer support networks. Organizations seeking to create flexible work environments that promote employee well-being and productivity might benefit greatly from the insights provided by this study.
A study on implementation and results of “Kantivelugu” scheme in Ghatkesar Mandal of Malkajigiri district of Telangana State - A community-based cross-sectional study R. Padmaja, R. S. Ch. Murthy Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 Purpose: The essential goal of this exploration is to decide the financial status of patients and recipients in Ghatkesar Mandal, Malkajigiri locale, Telangana, and to survey the degree to which these people know about their financial status. Design/methodology/approach: The researcher had focused his attention on the beneficiary satisfaction level on the Kantivelugu scheme. Since the scheme is very large in term of geographically, the focus of this study is limited to Ghatkesar Mandal, Medchal district. In this research work, attempts have been made to know the impact of Kantivelugu, awareness level on eye health and satisfaction. Sample design: The present study consists of Kantivelugu scheme beneficiaries of Ghatkesar – Medchal – Malkajigiri of Telangana State. The study’s sample size was determined using the simple random methodology. Choosing an appropriate sample size – The main data for the research was gathered using the simple random methodology. This is the result of applying the formula. Originality/value: The present study has been focused to examine the Beneficiaries satisfaction level on the Kantivelugu scheme. The study has considered the Ghatkesar – Medchal – Malkajigiri district of Telangana State as a study area. Primary data on beneficiaries’ levels of scheme awareness, eye health awareness, and satisfaction has been obtained for the research. Findings: The Kantivelugu scheme screened millions of individuals for eye problems by conducting a door-to-door survey to find those who had them. Millions of state residents have been vetted for the survey. The program has given care to thousands of individuals who had a variety of eye issues. The eye care facilities offer a wide range of services, including as eye exams, surgeries, and treatments for different eye conditions. They are furnished with contemporary facilities and technology. The significance of eye care has also been made more widely known by the Kantivelugu program. People have learned the value of routine eye exams through the program, and they are now more likely to seek treatment for any eye issues.
Role of non-performing assets in Indian banking industry - A critical review with special reference to select public sector banks in India Uma Shankar, Dinesh Khisti, Ch Murthy R. S. Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 Purpose: A non-performing asset (NPA) is a loan or advance for which the principal or interest payment remained overdue for a period of 90 days. Description: Banks are required to classify NPAs further into substandard, doubtful and loss assets. The well-being of a nation’s financial framework might be measured by taking a gander at its degree of non-performing resources. This examination means to analyze the job that some Indian public area banks have had in the country’s financial development all through the years 2018-2023. Design/methodology/approach: This exploration centers around five explicit Indian public areas banks and uses optional information mined from the Hold Bank of India’s site for the years 2018 and 2020. We are using some statistics like correlation, regression & OLS for future prediction. Originality/value: This is a fascinating study since it covers the time just after the 2008 financial crisis. No prior research has used this particular tack in examining the banking industry. There are two ways in which this study is helpful. Investors may find this data interesting, given the problem of bad loans is one that directly affects their capacity to make money from banking, and hence their long-term prospects. Findings: When opposed to nationalized banks, public sector banks have a slower rate of non-performing asset growth. Bank profitability drives both the gross NPA and net NPA rates.
Share price volatility in selected IT stocks listed in the NSE during the Russian and Ukraine war - An event analysis Uma Shankar, Dinesh Khisti, Ch Murthy R. S. Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 In finance, volatility is the degree of variation of a trading price series over time, usually measured by the standard deviation of logarithmic returns. Historic volatility measures a time series of past market volatility is the rate at which the price of a stock increases or decreases over a particular period. Higher stock price volatility often means higher risk and helps an investor to estimate the fluctuations that may happen in the future. Role of financial performance on banking sector in India by using CAMEL model analysis with special reference to Punjab National Bank - An empirical evidence G. Vinesh Kumar, G. Ramesh, Ch Murthy R. S. Chodisetty Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 It is now essential for any individual in possession of funds to have an account with one of India’s leading banks. Additionally, the likelihood of a person not possessing a bank account is rather low with the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna — An initiative by the Indian government to promote financial inclusion. But do you know whether public or private sector banks in India are the most prominent? So, you won’t have to worry about a thing; we’ve compiled detailed data on probably the best banks in India, including the main 10 public and confidential banks, along with information on the banking products that each of these banks offers. To survive and thrive in today’s global marketplace, companies must demonstrate exemplary corporate citizenship. Participation in socially good programs gives a corporation a competitive edge as it pursues expansion via globalization. As a rule, multinational corporations are required to significantly affect societal issues in any country in which they do business. Government regulations, environmental constraints, abuse of workers, and other associated problems may lead to enormous financial losses if this does not happen. Investigate the CAMEL model if you want to have insight into the performance of financial institutions and the measures, they might do to enhance it. The five CAMEL metrics — creditworthiness, asset quality, management effectiveness, earnings capacity, and liquidity are used to assess the financial assets. Of all the banks surveyed, Kotak Mahindra did the best, while Punjab National Bank ranked lowest. With all factors taken into account, private banks have performed better than their public sector equivalents. An analysis of ICICI Bank’s performance using the CAMEL model is the goal of this article.
An impact of global economic variables and macro-economic factors on NIFTY an Indian stock market volatility - A factorial approach K. Vinaya Lakshmi, R. S. Ch. Murthy Chodisetty, S. Govardhan, Krishna Vyas Digital Transformation and Sustainability of Business, 2025 Purpose: To identify the impact and effect of number of selected macro-economic variables and global economic variables on the national stock exchange (NIFTY) has been the primary focus of this research. Using secondary sources, the research has examined the years from 2013–2023. The researcher has found that macro and global economic factors are related in the long-term. After using the robust least square method, it was shown that global economic variable has a stronger influence on NIFTY. The vector auto regression (VAR) model has been applied and the NIFTY is expected to move upwards in near future based on the global GDP. This study is useful for the investors’ fraternity, fund managers and academic research scholars. Design/methodology/approach: Two primary goals will be accomplished by this research: first, to identify which macro and global economic variables have an effect on NIFTY; and second, to quantify the exact nature of that impact. We had use statistical techniques like VAR, robust least square method. Originality/value: The study has applied the VECM for the examination of the selected macro and global economic factors with the NIFTY and the result indicated that the significant relations have been observed with the NIFTY. Findings: VECM reports that global inflation is positively related to Indian Stock Market Indices (NIFTY), while national inflation is negatively related to NIFTY, the study examined that the global gross domestic product (GDP) variable “Dollar Index” and the macro variable “Rupee vs. Dollar” had a positive relationship with the price of NIFTY, this shows that the macro and micro variables have a long-term relationship with the NIFTY.
