M Kalyan Phani
Dr. M. Kalyan Phani is an Associate Professor (Sr. Grade) & Head in Departments of Metallurgical and Mining Engineering at OP Jindal University, Raigarh. He holds key roles, including Director of IQAC & RDC and Head of CoEST and CIF. He also overlooks the international collaborations as Prof-in-charge. He earned his PhD from HBNI-IGCAR, pioneering atomic force acoustic microscopy (AFAM) in India. With expertise in advanced microscopy techniques and software tools, he was deputed to the University of Goettingen by DAE for nanoscale friction research. He has 40+ publications, 4 patents, extensive industry experience and 20+ Research awards. His research focuses on rail steels, additive manufacturing, and steel waste management. He actively collaborates on material characterization and alloy development.
