Adaptive Speech Coding Method Based on Singular Value Decomposition and Grey Wolf Optimization for Arabic Language Hassan Kassim Albahadily, Alaa A. Jabbar Altaay, Jamal N. Hasson International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Systems, 2024 Speech coding plays a crucial role in maintaining speech quality while optimizing network resources and expediting transmission, as well as facilitating the storage of speech data. In this paper, an adaptive method for speech coding using singular value decomposition (SVD), grey wolf optimization (GWO), and run-length encoding (RLE) was proposed. The proposed method streamlines the speech matrix through preprocessing, converting it into short intervals. Subsequently, each interval undergoes decomposition using SVD, followed by optimization of compression quality using GWO. Finally, RLE is employed as the last step to increase space-saving. The developed method was conducted on two datasets: Quran and LibriSpeech using PSNR, PSEQ, and MOS tests. The results demonstrate promising outcomes, achieving space-saving up to 89.80, 84.04, 74.76, 67.24, and 59.52, respectively, for different values of quality (10, 20, 30, 40, and 50). GWO was used to optimize the quality factor which varies in each block, further increasing the space-saving up to 85.77. The average value of PSNR was equal to 21.3, MOS = 4.71, and PSEQ was equal to 3.95. Lastly, the RLE method effectively reduced the size of speech matrices, yielding a highly satisfactory space saving of up to 90.77, while maintaining excellent speech quality.
Lightweight Image Encryption Based on A Hybrid Approach Alaa A. Jabbar Altaay, Jamal N. Hasoon, Hassan Kassim Albahadily International Journal on Informatics Visualization, 2024 A secure image could be achieved by encryption, a technique for securing images over different media transmission lines with privacy and keeping them safe for the receiver. This paper proposes an image encryption approach to achieve excellent security by combining a lightweight encryption algorithm with the chaotic Peter De Jong map. The Lilliput algorithm, lightweight encryption, uses the Peter De-Jones map to produce keys. The suggested approach achieved a suitable level of complexity that matched the historical demands for transmission images. Two methods were used to conduct the tests on a standard image collection: an encrypted image and a generated key. Standard metrics find the similarity between the input and output images to achieve an accurate proposal performance. The encrypted image's entropy was assessed and discovered that it matched the original image values exactly. The results were satisfactory regarding obtaining a precise correlation rate between the original and encrypted photos. The decryption and reconstruction of the image were completed quickly and steadily, with a high success rate and excellent outcomes. The proposed approach was evaluated on a dataset of well-known test photos with unique features, including varying degrees of lightness and shade to create the perfect test.

Jabbar Altaay International Journal of Online and Biomedical Engineering, 2023 Digital invitation system become one of the important systems due to the pandemic consequences specially in E-learning domains. The digital invitation needed to be secure enough for several reasons specially in the user demands. In this paper designed and implemented a digital invitation system based on secure hash algorithm which achieving multilevel of security. The first security level, that is the hash code generated for the digital invitation link used in the encryption process not only for the invitation date but also for the invitation time. on the other hand, the second security level achieved through out using the hash code as map for the hiding mechanism. The generated hash will be used for the data integrity as well. The proposed system evaluating the final stego-image as digital invitation using PSNR metric and the maximum value reach 64.28 while the minimum value reach 58.21.
Encryption of Military Maps ImagesUsing Peter De Jong Chaotic Maps and Lightwaght Encryption Hassan Kassim Albahadily, Alaa A. Jabbar Altaay, Ismael Abdulsatar Jabbar Proceedings Csctit 2022 5th College of Science International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology, 2022 Because of the importance of the military maps in the transmission, and to keep them secure, a method for image encryption combining the chaotic map Peter DeJong map with a lightweight encryption algorithm is proposed to encrypt the military map images. Peter De Jong map is used to generate keys that are used with the lightweight encryption algorithm. The proposed method used Peter De Jong's map to generate numbers used in the pixel's permutation of the image. Then divide the image into blocks to apply the key numbers of lightweight encryption, then combine all blocks to get the encrypted image. The technique has been applied to a set of militarymap images. The tests used two approaches represented by generated key and encrypted image, and the results were efficient in all tests such as the correlation of the encrypted image in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions for original and encrypted images. The obtainedresult showsno correlations between the original and encrypted image. The quality of the images has been evaluated by calculating different metries for the original and encrypted images, such as MSE, PSNR, and SSIM. The Entropy of the encrypted image was measured, and it was the same as the original image values. The proposed method achieved an appropriate complexity commensurate with the requirements of the times in the transmission of images.
Decision Support System in GIS to Find Best Route Ali Mahammed Abd ALrhman, Alaa A. Jabbar 1st International Scientific Conference of Computer and Applied Sciences CAS 2019, 2019 Geographical information systems (GIS) become a popular tool in applications that include spatial objects and relations in the real world. The fast-technological expansions in the applications of web-based, simplifying the interaction between GIS and users. A fundamental problem remains available when dealing with a large amount of data in the GIS. Though the GIS strengths in the process of the spatial domain analysis, the systems of GIS are almost uninformed concerning the handling and analysis in the temporal domain. GIS systems find the path between two points or locations depending on time and speed. Therefore, in these days, considerable efforts are guided on this field towards the short time representation on GIS and safe this road. For accomplishing the particular goals of this paper and improve the usefulness of Google maps for the applications of GIS, this work builds a methodological structure to process vector and attribute data and visualise it. The conceptual model utilised here includes three main portions: firstly, the database tier; secondly, the application tier; and thirdly the client tier. This paper proposes a new spatial decision support system in GIS to find the best route between two locations based on different factors; it calculates the shortest and the fastest route depending on either length like other decision support systems or on other features like road safety or quality road by assigning a value to each road using intelligent algorithms (Dijkstra, Astar). The obtained results show decreasing in the time required to find the best result and adding more features as a cost to help the user to select the suitable road.
Statistical steganalysis of four photo themes before embedding Alaa A. Jabbar Altaay, Shahrin bin Sahib, Mazdak Zamani Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Advanced Computer Science Applications and Technologies Acsat 2013, 2013 In order to analyze how the correlativity behavioral pattern would change after data embedding, it needs to conduct a statistical analyze on average, maximum, minimum, and standard deviation of each group of photo before embedding. This paper proposes and elaborates the details of a new steganalysis method and then presents the results and characteristics of the four photo themes. The behavioral patterns of the four photo themes before secret data embedding are extracted from pixel correlativity analysis (AND-analysis) and color channel correlativity analysis (OR-analysis) results of the photo samples in dataset. The extracted behavioral patterns can be used by researchers and steganalysts in examining photos.
