Lectruer and Dpartament of Chemistry/Faculty of Science of the Eduardo Mondlane University
Eduardo Mondlane University

PhD and master's in Toxicology and Environmental Contamination from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Porto, Graduated in Chemistry from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique. His scientific research is related to Marine Biotoxins and other bio-compounds that occur in the marine environments and currently he is interested in the development of tools for easy forecasting and monitoring the occurrence of Marine Biotoxins and HABs in marine environment applying models/softwares based on machine learning that extracts and analyses time-series data from different available sources (e.g., in-situ biological and chemical data, satellite imaging, on-site cameras).

FUTURE PROJECTS

Easy forecasting and monitoring the occurrence of Marine Biotoxins and HABs in marine environment applying models/softwares based on machine learning that extracts and analyses time-series data from d

Marine Biotoxins and their producers are still a major threat to the public health worldwide because these toxins can cause poisoning to animals including humans although food web. So, the devolopment of easy and rapid tools for forecating and monitoring is strongly needed in order to management the ocurrence of marine biotoxins and their producer.
