Reverend Joseph Kipkorir Kitur is an accomplished Kenyan academic and ordained minister whose career in higher education and pastoral leadership spans over four decades. Born in 1958, Rev. Kitur has dedicated his professional life to teaching Religion, Christian Religious Education and Theology, driven by a commitment to sound biblical understanding.
His educational journey is marked by international study, including a diploma of Theology from Kenya, a Bachelor of Arts from Washington Bible College, a Master of Religious Education from Trinity International University in the U.S.A., and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from York St John University in the U.K., which cemented his status as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in York.
Since 2002, Rev. Kitur has been a cornerstone of Kabarak University, where he currently lectures. His leadership contributions are significant; he served as the pioneering Dean of the School of Theology, Education, and Arts (2007-2009)
