Krishna has done his Ph.D. from Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. His doctoral work was primarily focused on designing of a simple defluoridation technique by employing locally available materials, without compromising on the efficacy. He has also explored the environmental application of various agriculture feedstocks.
