    Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) play crucial role for maintaining the security of modern network infrastructures. With the increasing sophistication of cyber-attacks, traditional signature-based methods have become insufficient. Machine Learning (ML) techniques offer a promising alternative, providing the ability to detect novel threats by learning from network traffic patterns. This article provides a comparative analysis of different ML algorithms applied to NIDS, evaluating their performance based on key metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and Fl-score.

    Digital Signal Processing is an advanced technology that will determine the direction of science and technology in the next centuries. One of the main direction of digital signals processing is digital filters, which in the most cases have advantages over analog filters. Currently there are various methods of filter analysis and design. In this work, for synthesis of all types of recursive filters (low pass, high pass, bandwidth, band stop) is used a neural network. The main objective of filter synthesis is to find the filter coefficients. These filter coefficients define the filter transfer function. Using an iterative procedure of the neural network such as Backpropagation algorithm, on base of Visual C++ software was developed the program, which designs recursive filters with required characteristics. This is particularly important for the designing of the new correcting filters characteristics, the purpose of which is to reduce the unwanted noises in the measurement signal.
  • Development 'Filtration' software for the digital processing of the measuring signals

    The paper covers “Filtration” software developed by author. “Filtration” software allows the design of low-pass filters up to an 8th order filter with Chebychev, Bessel, Elliptic, Hamming, Kaiser, RMS or Butterworth responses from frequencies of 0.1 Hz to 1 MHz. “Filtration” software also can be used to design band-pass and high-pass filters with Chebychev, Bessel, Elliptic, Hamming, Kaiser, RMS or Butterworth responses. Options (specify order of filter, enter the value of signal to noise ratio) are available. Once the filter response has been identified, “Filtration” software generates the frequency response and the parameters of design filter. Software also will recalculate all values to meet the desired response, allowing real values to be substituted or changed as part of the design process. “Filtration” software allows to filtered noise on the base of the data, which corresponds to some measured signal, and to choose the desired type of digital filter, which eliminated unnecessary frequencies (noises) from input signal the best way. Software package was created by using Visual C++ environment.
  • Preprocessing of experimental seismic data

    In this work two methods of seismic data preprocessing for cleaning them from the noise are discussed. The first method is based on the method of decomposition of seismic signal. The second method is based on the spectral analysis with the use of low-pass filtering of data.
  • Using corrective filters to improve the accuracy of seismic data

    In paper the question of increase of accuracy of seismic data processing by use of low-frequency and band-pass filters is considered. Thus the purpose of a filtration is decomposition of noisy seismic signal. For management of process of decomposition the operational information on spectral structure of signals is used.
  • Solution of inverse problem of measurements for correcting filters synthesis

    In the paper the statement of inverse problem of dynamic measurements of physical quantities is given and the technique of robust correcting filters synthesis for reproduction of fixed component of the useful measuring signal reshaped on an output of a dynamic system «object plus sensor» and followed with white and colour noise is designed.
