TRENDS IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL CALLS BEFORE AND AFTER COVID-19 IN KAZAKHSTAN Georgian Medical News, 2024
COMPREHENSIVE HYGIENIC ASSESSMENT OF THE WORKING CONDITIONS OF MINERS ENGAGED IN UNDERGROUND POLYMETALLIC ORE MINING A. A. Ismailova, A. A. Musina, R. K. Suleimenova, A. M. Tekebaeva, S. A. Zhizhila, et al. Permskij Medicinskij Zurnal, 2024 Objective. To carry out a comprehensive hygienic assessment of the working conditions of miners of underground polymetallic ores mining, taking into account various technological operations to predict the risk of the development of health disorders and to optimize labor.Materials and methods. The object of the study was the miners of the underground ore mining of the Zhezkent mining and processing plant (MPP) of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP in the East Kazakhstan region. Comprehensive hygienic studies on working conditions of various professional groups included an evaluation of microclimatic parameters, illumination, vibroacoustic factors in accordance with the Methodological Recommendations "Hygienic criteria for the assessment and classification of working conditions according to the indicators of harmfulness and danger of the working environment factors, severity and intensity of the labor process".Results. The results of the hygienic studies of the working conditions of miners of underground polymetallic ore mining of the Zhezkentsky MPP of the Kazakhmys Corporation demonstrated a number of unfavorable production factors. Thus, the relative air humidity varied within 96.1%, the dust content in the air of the working area exceeded the maximum permissible concentration (MPC) by 4.5 times, the noise and general vibration indicators exceeded the MPC from 11dB to 28dB.Conclusions. The results of a comprehensive hygienic assessment of the working conditions of miners of the underground polymetallic ore mining of the Zhezkentsky MPP allowed us to establish that the working conditions of engineers for mining equipment management by the degree of harmfulness corresponded to the 3rd class of the 3rd degree, and the work of miners of auxiliary professions - to the 3rd class of the 2nd degree.
Trend of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Northern Regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Outpatient Level Iranian Journal of Public Health, 2024
The Recent Advances of Mobile Healthcare in Cardiology Practice Shynar Kulbayeva, Karlygash Tazhibayeva, Laura Seiduanova, Indira Smagulova, Aiman Mussina, et al. Acta Informatica Medica, 2022 Background: Digitalization of healthcare led to the optimization of monitoring, diagnostics, and treatment of the range of disorders. Taking into account recent situation with COVID-19 pandemics, digital technologies allowed to improve management of viral infections via remote monitoring and diagnostics of infected patients. Up to date, various mobile health applications (apps) have been proposed, including apps for the patients diagnosed with cardiovascular pathologies. Objective: The presented review aimed at the analyses of a range of mHealth solutions used to improve primary cardiac care. In addition, we studied the factors driving and hindering the wide introduction of mHealth services in the clinics. Methods: The work was based on the guidelines of the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) statement. The publication search was carried out using PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases. Studies published during the period from 2014 until January 2022 were selected for the analysis. The evaluation of risk of bias for the included studies was conducted using the Cochrane Collaboration Risk of Bias tool. Results and Discussion: An overall 5513 studies were assessed for eligibility after which 39 studies were included.. The main trend in the mobile health for cardiological applications is the use of different types of wearable devices and Artificial Intelligence-platforms. In fact, mobile technology allows remotely to monitor, interpret, and analyze biomedical data collected from the patient. Conclusion: The results of this literature search demonstrated that patients diagnosed with cardiovascular disorders can potentially benefit from the application of mHealth in cardiology. However, despite the proven advantages of mHealth for cardiology, there are many challenges and concerns regarding effectiveness, safety, reliability and the lack of official regulation and guidelines from official organizations. Such issues require solutions and further work towards a wide implementation of mHealth technologies in cardiac practice.
Trends of emergency calls during the coronavirus disease-19 pandemic in nur-sultan Akerke Chayakova, Marjan Dauletyarova, Daulet Aldyngurov, Aiman Mussina, Roza Suleimenova, et al. Open Access Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences, 2021 BACKGROUND: The new coronavirus infection (coronavirus disease [COVID]-19) has become a serious obstacle on the health-care systems in Kazakhstan, as well as throughout the world. Certainly, the extent of emergency medical services (EMSs) use at some stage within the COVID-19 pandemic has been increased. However, the impact on the use of EMS in Kazakhstan during the COVID-19 pandemic has not been studied. AIM: The aim of this study was to analyze the dynamics of changes in the number of emergency medical calls during the COVID-19 pandemic, depending on the time of year, day of the week, and the causes for the calls. METHODS: This study retrospectively evaluated the Nur-Sultan (capital of Kazakhstan) EMS data for the period after the pandemic was first seen in Kazakhstan. The necessary permissions for the study were obtained from the Nur-Sultan City Public Health Department. EMS data for the same time interval (February 1–May 1) in the past 3 years (2018, 2019, and 2020) were compared. The data were taken from the database of the automated control system “Komek 103,” which is used in the ambulance station since the end of 2019, and the automated dispatch information systems “ADIS” used by the ambulance station in Nur-Sultan. RESULTS: During the COVID-19 pandemic, EMS call rates had been maximum common on Mondays and Thursdays by 13, 75%. The evaluation suggests that the quantity of male sufferers extended by 14, 05% in the course of the pandemic length, as compared to the pre-pandemic length. The quantity of patients with inside the 65+ age group in the course of the pandemic length has extended by 31.5%. During the pandemic, the signs and symptoms of fever enlarged significantly by 83%. Moreover, suicides elevated by 61% during the pandemic period. During the COVID‐19 pandemic, using EMS particularly for time touchy illnesses, which include hypertension (−31%), surgical emergencies (acute abdomen) (−40%), cerebrovascular illnesses (−11%), and other heart illnesses (−29%) decreased. CONCLUSIONS: During the pandemic period, there was an increase in the calls from male patients, compared to the pre-pandemic period. Moreover, during the COVID-19 pandemic, EMS call rates had been increased on Mondays and Thursdays. We found an alteration with inside the sample of obtained calls. Furthermore, the quantity of patients with inside the 65+ age group in the course of the pandemic length has extended.
