Determination and classification of human blood contamination diseases and Rh factor using ensemble algorithm Suthagar Subramaniyan, Mageshkumar Gunasekar, Tamilselvan Kumaravel Subramaniam, Murugesan Govindasamy, Lalithraj Subramaniyan High Performance Automation Methods for Computational Intelligent Systems Design and Enabling Technologies, 2025 Blood is a major requirement for human survival. The analysis of the blood component plays a crucial role in the detection of diseases; it also contains various parameters for the detection of specific blood-related diseases. The correct segmentation of the blood cells improves the accuracy and level of illness detection. We determine and classify the human blood contamination disease and Rh factors using ensemble learning algorithms. Segmentation of blood cells is a tedious process, and the extraction of features is done to analyze particular diseases such as sickle cell disease, enzyme disorder, nutrition, and intestinal sickness. For the correct prediction of diseases, patterns of threshold value are identified precisely and recognized. Image classification is done by an image processing method that includes texture feature extraction using thresholding segmentation, morphology, and clustering algorithms. With 679 records, this study provides a distinct benchmark dataset. When compared to a neural network, the ensemble classifier had an accuracy of 95.16% in the diagnosis and categorization of different illnesses. The volume of data available has made machine learning an essential tool for modeling human processes in many fields, including medicine. In order to obtain high accuracy, classifiers are trained using this dataset. The study’s objective of helping physicians forecast blood diseases based on normal blood tests was accomplished when several classifiers were evaluated and an accuracy of up to 95.16% was attained.
Performance Analysis of Velostat, Conductive Fabric and Force Sensing Resistor for Incorporating Safety in Women's Jacket Suthagar S, Shriganth RA, Subash S, Vasanth M 2024 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics Esci 2024, 2024 Every day, harassment issues and crimes against women are increasing in India. When women are in danger, if there is no chance to access the mobile phones, then women cannot easily contact others for help. Women are affected physically and mentally, and many lives were lost. When affected, women suffer from psychological effects like depression and lowered self-esteem in addition to physical effects. A safety system in woman's jacket is used to detect harassment and to rescue women from harassment before being severely affected. It is also used to detect abnormal conditions in health by using heartbeat and body temperature sensors. Three piezoresistive materials such as Velostat, Force Sensing Resistor and conductive fabric are analyzed in which resistance is decreased when pressure is applied. These materials are analyzed and the results show that velostat is better than Force sensing resistor and conductive fabric. Velostat is implemented in the safety system and the system detects the pressure applied to a woman's body. If the pressure is greater than the threshold level, then the system sends the message along with the location with the help of GSM and GPS modules. In addition to the automatic detection of pressure, a push button is present in the circuit to send the message manually. Temperature sensors and pulse rate sensors are used to measure the body temperature and heartbeat of the woman. The system was implemented and tested with 15 people and it has an overall accuracy of 93.1%.
Baby Incubator Monitoring System using Global System for Mobile Technology , Suthagar S., Mageshkumar G., , K. S. Tamilsevan, and Jurnal Kejuruteraan, 2022 Giving birth to a child is one of the precious moments in life. Every second a life is brought into the world and not many children are lucky enough to be healthy. Monitoring the health conditions of a baby in the incubator is a critical medical issue. Many researchers are working in this area to improve the safety of newborn babies. As far as the study that we proceeded with, there exists a fundamental issue in ensuring whether the doctor has attended the emergency or not. In this paper, a system is proposed to monitor the baby inside the incubator using a global system for mobile technology (GSM). The proposed system detects the baby’s temperature, heartbeat, weight, and baby’s sound inside the incubator. If there are any changes in the above-said parameters beyond the threshold level, an intimation will be sent to the concerned doctor through the GSM. The system will keep sending the alert message to the doctor every minute until the doctor acknowledges the baby’s condition. This system will enhance the safety of newborn babies by addressing the above-said issue, thereby reducing the risk involved in monitoring the babies inside the incubator. A prototype is developed and it was tested for functional verification.
Analysis of Breast Cancer Classification using Various Algorithms Suthagar S, Snegha C, Sureka M, Velmurugan S Proceedings 6th International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication Iccmc 2022, 2022 Invasive ductal carcinoma has become the most common types of tumors in recent years. The chances of the patient arriving in the case improve if the issue is detected early. The most prevalent classification for breast cancer is binary (benign cancer/malignant cancer), which allows pathologists to come up with a systematic and objective prognosis. The WBCD (Wisconsin Breast Cancer Diagnosis) dataset is used to build the classifier. Before performing the classification, the dataset is preprocessed and explored using various techniques. Four Machine Learning techniques like k-fold cross-validation, pipelining, principle component analysis(PCA), and hyperparameter optimization are compared and analyzed in the project. These techniques are applied to the development of eight classifiers that must distinguish between benign and malignant breast tumors. These techniques were applied on the Adaboost classifier, KNeighbor classifier, DT classifier, RF classifier, SVM classifier, Logistic regression classifier, Gaussian NB classifier, and Gradient boosting classifier. After applying all those algorithms, the SVM classifier has obtained the highest accuracy of 99.1% after applying all those algorithms on the dataset.
