I am currently working with Parul University Gujarat as an Associate Professor in the Department of Hotel Management and catering technology. I have 15 years of experience in both industry and academics. He has worked with Oberoi Group of Hotels, Carnival Cruise Line USA, Pacific University, and Amity University Rajasthan. His Doctoral Research work was in the area of Staff Turnover Intention in the Hotel industry. I published more than 64 research papers and 3 books in top indexing like Scopus, web of Science, and ABDC in the fields of Hospitality, Tourism, and Management. My three research papers have been indexed in WHO Global Research on Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and presented more than 30 papers at International and National conferences. I graced several National and International Conferences as a Keynote Speaker and Session Chair. The effects of Bollywood film-induced tour guiding on revisit intentions and destination image Alastair M Morrison, Debasish Batabyal, Yashwant Singh Rawal, Rupa Sinha Journal of Vacation Marketing, 2026 Film-induced tour guiding is evolving as a hybrid of storytelling and information and communication technologies. It is a contemporary approach to tour guiding with the sharing of visual, vocal, and celebrity effects via audiovisual clips before and on-site during tours. The main purpose of this research was to investigate the impacts of film-induced tour guiding with a specific focus on Bollywood movies. A mixed-method research design was followed by employing qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Structural equation modeling revealed that celebrity and vocal effects, and destination image had positive and significant impacts and highlighted the influence of Bollywood stars, storytelling, and destination perceptions in shaping revisit intentions. The findings offer vacation marketers several suggestions on how to augment film-induced tourism and tour-guiding effectiveness.
Revolutionizing Hospitality: The Role of Blockchain in Driving Transparency, Security, and Efficiency Shikha, Yashwant Singh Rawal Transforming Tourism and Hospitality AI Powered Service Delivery Innovations, 2026 Using blockchain technology as a tool for improving transparency, security, and operational efficiency in the hospitality industry is the focus of this study. Blockchains reduce the reliance on third parties and decentralize data management, improving productivity and reducing costs for the industry. Several aspects of blockchain are discussed in the chapter, including its fundamental principles, its applications in hospitality, and its advantages—from secure payments to personalized guest experiences to loyalty programs that work efficiently. Furthermore, the plan addresses obstacles to adoption, such as cost, scalability, and resistance from the organization. As a final point, the study highlights the potential of blockchain technology in reshaping service delivery and positioning hospitality companies as industry leaders in the digital age.

There is now much more interest in the topic as AI can increase worker productivity by automating monotonous jobs so that employees can concentrate on more complicated client needs. The purpose of the study has three goals in consideration: (i) to provide an overview of AI in the hospitality industry; (ii) to provide the areas of hotels enhanced by AI; and (iii) to provide the effect of an AI-powered HR system on employee performance optimization.
