Among the foremost goals for organic chemists is to discover novel approaches for the synthesis of a particular heterocyclic and its design. Our approach focused on the vital precursor 4-acetyl-3-phenylisoxazol-5(4H)-one 3, as this molecule has an endocyclic carbonyl function in position 5 adjacent to the substituted acetyl function at site 4. Therefore, compound 3 was a crucial component of many types of fused isoxazole. The investigators provide a straightforward synthesis of fused isoxazole from the following categories: pyrano[3,2-d]isoxazole 4 & 6, isochromeno[4,3-d]isoxazole 5, isoxazolo[4',5':5,6]pyrano[3,4-c]pyridine 7, thieno[3',4':4,5]pyrano [3,2-d]isoxazole 8, pyrazolo[4,3-d]isoxazole 10a,b and 11a,b, and isoxazolo[4,5-c]pyridazine derivatives 14a,b. The target compounds and their structures were supported by the results of 1H-NMR, IR and mass spectroscopy. Molecular docking studies highlighted strong binding affinities to bacterial enzymes crucial for cell wall synthesis, while DFT calculations provided deep insights into their electronic properties and stability. Additionally, the antioxidant potential of compounds 11a,b was assessed using DPPH and ABTS assays, showing impressive concentration-dependent activity. Addressing the critical issue of antibiotic resistance, especially due to β-lactamases, molecular docking affirmed the high binding propensity of these derivatives with essential β-lactamase proteins (PDB: 1CK3, 6MU9, and 6W2Z). Water pollution and scarcity are escalating global challenges that necessitate the development of sustainable water treatment technologies. Coagulation-flocculation, a crucial method for water purification, has traditionally relied on chemical coagulants such as alum and ferric chloride. However, these chemical treatments are associated with significant drawbacks, including the generation of toxic sludge, disruption of water pH, high operational costs, and adverse environmental impacts. In response to these issues, natural coagulants derived from plants, animals, and microorganisms have emerged as promising eco-friendly alternatives. This review explores the mechanisms, applications, and environmental advantages of natural coagulants in water treatment. Studies demonstrate their effectiveness in removing turbidity, heavy metals, pathogens, and other pollutants from both surface and synthetic wastewater. Compared to chemical coagulants, natural alternatives produce less sludge, are less toxic, and offer a more sustainable and environmentally friendly solution to water treatment. However, challenges persist, particularly in terms of scalability, standardization, and cost-effectiveness. The performance of natural coagulants can vary depending on geographical origin, and the lack of standardized extraction methods hinders their large-scale application. Future research should focus on optimizing extraction processes, addressing scalability issues, and exploring hybrid systems that combine the benefits of both natural and chemical coagulants. The continued development of natural coagulants holds great promise for creating more sustainable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly water treatment solutions. The petroleum industry, characterized by the significant investment in costly equipment and devices utilized in the extraction, production, or processing of crude oil, can result in the loss of valuable assets or the crude itself. This research involved the synthesis of a Schiff base from substituted gallic acid derivatives through an intermediate reaction known as N-(2-{2-[2-(2-amino-ethylamino)-ethylamino]-ethylamino}-ethyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-benzamide (AEET). The synthesized compound was characterized using FTIR and 1HNMR spectroscopy to evaluate its effectiveness in inhibition. The performance of the inhibitors was assessed through an electrochemical process that included Tafel and EIS. This evaluation was supported by theoretical mechanisms involving density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics simulations (MDS). To validate the findings from the electrochemical studies, the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique was employed to examine the topographic anisotropy characteristics between the treated and untreated samples of mild steel species. The bioassay diluted serial technique was utilized to assess the AEET as effective biocides for managing bacterial growth issues. This evaluation included an analysis of the AEET's efficiency in inhibiting sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
