Juliana Tasca Tissot, Ph.D., is Professor of Faculty of Architecture at the Federal University of Pelotas in Brazil. She has Bachelor, MasterĀ“s and Ph.D. degree in Architecture. She was Visiting Scholar at University of Illinois supervised by Dr. Wendy Rogers - Department of Kinesiology and Community Health (2022). She is certified as Aging in Place Specialist by NAHB. Her research interests include design for aging with focus on the built environment. She also studies the relation between the reduction of falls, usability of the space, accessibility, and healthy aging.
