PhD student in Literary Studies at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (PPGEL/UFMT). He is dedicated to studying ethnic relations in Brazil, the privileges of whiteness and the intersectionalities of Brazilian minorities. He is a Master in Teaching from the Postgraduate Program in Teaching (PPGEn-IFMT/UNIC). During her master's degree, he studied the teaching of Black Literature in state schools in Mato Grosso, where it was found that schools do not address the topic in Portuguese Language and Literature classes. He participates in the LAALID research group - English-speaking African and Afro-descendant literatures in the diaspora. He is graduated in Arts (UFMT), with qualifications in Portuguese and English. He has been a teacher since 2006 and, since then, has been working with the Portuguese language, mainly with reading and written production.
