Eltaj Jabiyev a geographer and academic specializing in economic, social, and political geography, with a particular focus on the territorial organization and development prospects of fruit-growing in Azerbaijan. Since 2021, he has been working at the Faculty of Geography, Baku State University—initially as a part-time lecturer (0.5 FTE) and, from 2024 onward, as both a part-time lecturer and the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Geography at Baku State University (2012–2016), a Master’s degree in Geography Education at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (2016–2018), and doctoral studies (PhD) at the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (2020–2023).
Eltaj Jabiyev has participated in numerous national and international conferences, symposia, and seminars, and has authored several scientific works in the fields of fruit-growing development, regional planning and e t c.
