  • The Impact of Female Entrepreneurship on Economic Growth in Developing and Developed Economies
Akybayeva Gulvira, Mussabekova Ainash, Mambetova Sagynysh, Ayaganova Meiramgul, Koitanova Aliya
Economics Innovative and Economics Research Journal, 2024
Significance. The development of women’s entrepreneurship is still a largely untapped potential for growth and prosperity. The economic role of women is crucial for growth and a more equitable distribution of wealth. Economic opportunities are much more important for women today than for the previous generation, especially for developing countries. In this regard, the impact of women’s entrepreneurship on economic growth is an important area of research reflecting broader interests in gender equality, economic development and human resource optimization. Objectives. Analysis of the impact of women’s entrepreneurship on the economies of developed and developing countries and the development of some recommendations for the development of women’s entrepreneurship. Methods. For this study, the method of ordinary least squares (OLS) was used, which analyses the impact of women’s entrepreneurship on economic growth in developed and developing countries in the period 2012-2022. Results. The under-development of women’s entrepreneurship represents untapped potential for growth and prosperity in many countries. In this regard, there is an urgent need to create more favourable conditions for the development and strengthening of women’s entrepreneurship, more thoughtful policies and decisive measures aimed at empowering women are crucial. The results obtained in the course of this study are important for the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the study of women’s entrepreneurship. The results of the study may be useful for women entrepreneurs, NGOs/NGOs, development institutions and government agencies.

  • Improving the Efficiency of the National Healthcare as Oriented Sustainable System. The Socio-Economic Aspects and Environmental Issues
Bakhytzhan SMAILOV, Roza ANDAROVA, Gulvira AKYBAYEVA, Yelena GORDEYEVA, Sagynysh MAMBETOVA, et al.
Journal of Environmental Management and Tourism, 2022
Based on a review of existing approaches, the article substantiates the nature of medical services as a mixed public good in relation with the sustainability of our society. In this regard, the typology of the modern healthcare sector is investigated on the basis of detailing the theoretical constructs underlying the applied models in response to their organizational mechanism.
It is established that the target of all applied models of organization of the healthcare system is to search for optimal productivity. Medical efficiency of healthcare generates organizational effectiveness of therapeutic measures, social efficiency – the accessibility to medical services, economic efficiency – resource efficiency, environmental efficiency – overall sustainability of the healthcare system.
The findings of this research outline that the ideal model of the healthcare system, besides the fact that should have a high medical, social and economic efficiency, should also be an environmentally oriented sustainable system which will allow healthy life also for the next generations.

Ensuring the safety and security of strategically important facilities, such as power system elements and estimation of the energy security level is important for the country. In this paper, we analyze the congestion risks of Kazakhstani high-voltage transmission lines by applying the "N-1 security" assessment approach for peak annual consumption hour in the winter. The assessment is performed based on the power system model with detailed network topology assuming direct current load flow for optimal power flow approximation. The model is implemented in GAMS and serves as a core for iterative algorithms simulating potential failure of lines and corresponding topology changes. The results provide insights into possible outages up to maximum allowable permissible current in the transmission lines and criterion of the ability to maintain the stable operation of the power system in the event of a single line break. The proposed method provides the ability to find weak overloaded connections for decision-makers to reduce risks in critical areas and find preventive measures against cascading failures. The analysis has shown that using precalculated optimization methods can reduce the probability of the overloading of the HV lines in the event of a breakage of one of the lines.
  • Features of the use of renewable energy sources in agriculture
Tokhtar Bolyssov, Bauyrzhan Yessengeldin, Gulvira Akybayeva, Zamzagul Sultanova, Azamat Zhanseitov
International Journal of Energy Economics and Policy, 2019
The article considers the prospects of using renewable energy sources in agriculture. The authors focused on the following types of renewable energy sources: Solar, biomass, wind, and hydro generated power. Based on the analysis of Renewables Global Status Report data, the authors identified a decrease in the amount of investment in renewable energy and fuel by developed countries in developing countries. This work highlights the main reasons for the development of renewable energy (environmental safety, energy independence), as well as positive and negative aspects of the transition to renewable energy. The authors of the article reveal the features of job creation in the renewable energy industries, which will compensate for the loss of jobs in the field of fossil energy. Much attention is paid to the economy of renewable energy sources, revealing the relationship between energy use and economic growth. According to the authors, the use of RES not only increase the level of energy supply to remote rural settlements, but also can have a significant positive impact on the economy of agriculture.
