Taiye Hussein Aliyu

Prof T.H. ALIYU is an associate Professor and Head, Department of Crop Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin-Nigeria. He has been teaching, doing research and community development in the University of Ilorin since 2008. He was first appointed Assistant Lecturer in the University in 17th June, 2008. He rose to the position of Lecturer II in 2011, Lecturer I in 2014 Senior Lecturer in 201,7 Associate Professor 2020 and Professor in 2023.
He teaches courses at undergraduate and postgraduate. He has also served the University in various capacities at various times. He has served as Examinations Officer, Undergraduate Coordinator, Faculty Representative, Member of the Senate and Head of Department etc..
