Refining digital security with EfficientNetV2-B2 deepfake detection techniques G.N. Vivekananda, T.R. Mahesh, Muskan Gupta, Arastu Thakur, Anu Sayal Egyptian Informatics Journal, 2025 The rise in digitally altered images has made research on robust solutions for real image verification across sectors, including media and cybersecurity very essential. Deepfake technology’s development compromises digital media’s validity and calls for advanced detection to address. With EfficientNetV2-B2, a novel improvement in convolutional neural networks that is considered efficient and effective, the present research proposes a strong method for separating deepfake and real images. To ensure equal ratio, the paper utilized a balanced dataset consisting of 100,000 photos divided equally between real-world and deepfake classes. Methodology involved image preprocessing to the same dimensions, model strength augmentation techniques, and a rigorous training process with parameter optimization for precision. Interestingly, the study employed an independent learning rate adjustment method for enhancing training performance, resulting in better model calibration. Experiment setup results showed a staggering 99.885 % in classification accuracy and a corresponding high F1 score, thereby establishing the capability of the model in deepfake detection. Extensive exploration also confirmed there were evident cases of misclassification, which indicated areas where training model and image processing procedures should be improved. The results illustrate the prospect of applying EfficientNetV2-B2 in situations where high accuracy is needed in photo verification.

Context-Aware Ethical Decision-Making: A Novel Framework for Autonomous Systems Mridul Jain, Sowad Rahman, Vivekananda GN 2025 International Conference on Sustainability Innovation and Technology Icsit 2025, 2025 Self-driving cars, medical robots, service robots, and other autonomous systems all face the same issue: how to make tough ethical choices in messy, real-world situations. They need to balance safety and transparency while also considering the different values of the people involved. These priorities can shift depending on the situation and context. Traditional models struggle here. Since they often rely on simple principles like “do whatever helps the most people,” they aren't flexible enough to make wise decisions in complex settings. That's why we propose something new: Context Aware Ethical Decision-Making (CAEDM). In short, CAEDM helps AI systems understand the situations they're in and prioritize stakeholders accordingly before making a decision. This makes them more adaptable, transparent, and fair in their operations. In tests, CAEDM outperformed traditional methods: stakeholders were more satisfied, the system responded better to context, and fairness improved overall. This paper lays out the core ideas behind CAEDM, how it was designed, and how it adapts across different cultures. We also test it in various hypothetical scenarios to evaluate its performance. Ultimately, our goal is to make AI systems more trustworthy.
Achieving concurrency in cloud-orchestrated Internet of Things for resource sharing through multiple concurrent access Xuedong Xu, Wei Sun, Vivekananda GN, Achyut Shankar Computational Intelligence, 2024 Abstract Cloud‐orchestrated Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates proper utilization of network resources and placating user demands in smart communications. Multiple concurrent access (MCA) techniques designed for cloud‐assisted communication helps to achieve better resource sharing features with fault tolerance ability. A multi‐objective resource allocation and sharing (RAS) for balancing MCA in cloud‐orchestrated IoT is presented in this article. The RAS constraints are modeled through linear programming (LP) as an optimization approach. The constraints are resolved using genetic representations (GR) for reducing the unserviced requests and failed resource allocations. Conventional genetic stages are inherited by the LP model to solve resource allocation and access issues reducing latency. The combined LP and GR jointly resolve resource allocation and MCA stagnation in cloud network. A fair outcome of LP‐GR is estimation using the metrics response latency, resource utilization, request handled, and average latency.
Virtual Hue: A Web Application for Anemia Prognosis Gn Vivekananda, L Pradeep International Conference on Smart Systems for Applications in Electrical Sciences Icsses 2024, 2024 Anemia is a state of bad health condition where there is the presence of a low amount of red blood cells in the blood. We aim to build a simple Anemia prediction Web Application, that predicts whether a patient is anemic or not by which doctor can make a better decision in the diagnosis of the disease. The purpose of this study is to create a model that uses red blood cell indicators to predict anemia in adults. There are 1422 data records in the collection of data from Kaggle. After that, they undergo preprocessing, normalization, balancing, and the application of certain machine learning algorithms. It is followed by outcome analysis, validation, and verification. With an accuracy of 98.7%, the Ada Boost and Random Forest Classifier ensemble model exhibits the best performance. For the prediction of anemia, choosing the top-performing algorithm, stacking it with other algorithms, and using a voting classifier are all essential to increase accuracy regardless of any time constraints.
