Rolly James F. Cheng holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with a major in Biological Science, graduating Cum Laude at Notre Dame University in 2011, Cotabato City. He went on to earn a Master's degree in Science Education at Mindanao State University- Maguindanao in 2016. He finished his earned a PhD in Education with a major in Biology Education as a DOST Scholar (Capacity Building Program in Science and Mathematics Education Recipient) at the University of the Philippines-Open University in 2023.
