Institutional model for social entrepreneurship in rice-based agrotourism Jamalludin, Melinda Noer, Rahmat Syahni, Nofialdi Nativa, 2025 Rice field agritourism is a tourist attraction that utilizes natural agricultural landscapes to offer educational experiences related to the agricultural sector. This research aims to develop an ideal rice-based agro-tourism institutional model using a systems approach, employing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This study was conducted in the Bunga Raya Sub-district, Siak District, Indonesia. AHP analysis revealed that human resources (0.302) and technology (0.229) were the most important factors for successful agritourism development. The study identified an equal weighting of farmers (0.284) and agritourism management (0.291) in stakeholder roles, while technology development (0.253) and local economic growth (0.272) emerged as key objectives. Among the institutional models evaluated, the Local Public Service Agency (LPSA) emerged as the most suitable framework (0.429), followed by the partnership model (0.237), the Destination Management Organization (0.147), cooperatives (0.118), and Community-Based Tourism (0.068). Local Public Service Agencies (LPSAs) with social entrepreneurship initiatives in the rice-based agritourism sector play a strategic role in enhancing the welfare of farmers, contributing to the optimization of tourism potential, promoting local financial independence, and creating sustainable economic opportunities while protecting local natural and cultural resources. Keywords: agrotourism; institutional model; social entrepreneurship; rice farming; analytical hierarchy process; rural development; agricultural economics.

This research employs a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling was conducted using the simple random sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that innovation does not have a significant positive effect on local economic institutions. Innovation has a significant positive effect on technosociopreneurship. Collaboration has a significant positive effect on local economic institutions. Collaboration has a significant positive effect on technosociopreneurship. Technosociopreneurship has a significant positive effect on local economic institutions. Technosociopreneurship mediates the relationship between innovation and local economic institutions. Technosociopreneurship mediates the relationship between collaboration and local economic institutions. Technosociopreneurship mediates the relationship between culture and local economic institutions. The R² value of 0.678 indicates that the variables of innovation, collaboration, and culture explain 67.8% of the factors contributing to technosociopreneurship, while the remaining 32.2% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. The R² value of 0.530 shows that technosociopreneurship, innovation, collaboration, and culture collectively explain 53% of the factors influencing local economic institutions, leaving 47% to be explained by other unexamined variables. Technosociopreneurship plays a key role in mediating the relationship between innovation and the local economic institution of KPSU Solok Radjo. Without the mediation of technosociopreneurship, innovation does not impact local economic institutions.
SUPPLY CHAIN CONCEPTUAL MODEL TO OPTIMIZE A LOCAL FOOD AGROINDUSTRY FROM THE COCONUT MILK PROCESSING Meilizar Meilizar, Rika Ampuh Hadiguna, Santosa Santosa, Nofialdi Nofialdi Journal of Applied Engineering and Technological Science, 2024 This study uses a soft system methodology to examine the coconut milk supply chain, which supports the local food agro-industry, particularly for rendang products. It aims to develop a fundamental concept to optimize this supply chain. The proposed method is effective for addressing complex, multi-stakeholder problems. Using systems thinking, real-world system behaviour is converted into a conceptual model, facilitating decision-making through customer, actor, transformation, worldview, owner, and environment components. The findings include a conceptual model translated into a causal loop diagram, part of a dynamic systems approach, which shows the interconnections and feedbacks among variables in the supply chain, such as raw material supply, logistics costs, production volume, and distribution costs. This stage identifies stakeholders and systematically illustrates the relationships in managing the flow of goods. It provides a basis for designing a supply chain network aligned with local government policies for developing the coconut milk agro-industry. It aims to optimize the local food industry, particularly rendang, in West Sumatra province. After creating the conceptual model, gap analysis and validation were conducted, comparing the model with real-world insights from stakeholders, including coconut farmers, producers, rendang manufacturers, academic institutions, and local governments. Validation focused on efficiency, efficacy, and effectiveness. The results demonstrate the foundational idea for designing the coconut milk agro-industry supply chain network to support local food products, as depicted in the causal loop diagram.
Sustainable Fishery Value Chain (SFVC): Study Case in Tilapia Industry Julia Marisa, Rahmat Syahni, Rika Ampuh Hadiguna, Nofialdi Nofialdi International Journal on Advanced Science Engineering and Information Technology, 2024 This research is built on the concept of sustainable value chains, where a framework for sustainable value chain analysis emerges that covers not only economic aspects but also includes environmental and social impacts in a collaborative model of value chain management. It explores the dimensions on which value chain sustainability should focus. It illustrates how and why it is necessary to take a broader perspective in ensuring the internal economic sustainability of the chain in line with its external socio-environmental consequences. This research aims to analyze the sustainability of the tilapia processing value chain. This research uses the Multi-Dimensional Scaling analysis method supported by Rap-fish software. The Rapfish methodology is a flexible technique that rapidly assesses fisheries status by integrating ecological and human factors according to identified norms. The results of this research show that the sustainability of the tilapia processing value chain is considered entirely sustainable from economic, social, and environmental aspects, with a sufficient sustainability index of 74.40%. The sustainability of the value chain relies on four key actors: tilapia cultivators, collectors, processors, and distributors. The sustainable tilapia processing value chain strategy in North Sumatra can limit floating net cages by considering the environmental carrying capacity and supported by suitable policies and active stakeholder participation in community-based legal institutions. This research found this is a strong sustainability concept if implemented with better governance and policy management in the tilapia industry value chain.
Analysis the Added Value of Sustainable Tilapia Fish Industry of Value Chain Actors in North Sumatera J Marisa, R Syahni, RA Hadiguna, Nofialdi Nofialdi Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2023 The purpose of this research/study is to identify the actors involved in the value chain, analyze the added value received by each actor, and analyze the value chain of business actors who get the most benefits and related parties in the Toba Samosir Regency. The data analysis used in this research is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative analysis is conducted to describe and analyze the actors involved in the value chain of the tilapia business. Quantitative research is carried out to calculate the costs and benefits used to determine the added value of the business. The results of this study are the flow pattern of the tilapia business value chain, starting from fish cultivators to consumers. The actors involved in the value chain consist of fish farmers, wholesalers, processors of tilapia, and distributors. The added value obtained by each tilapia value chain actor is 18.08% for tilapia cultivators, 5.31% for collectors, 60.76% for tilapia fillet processors, and 15.85% for tilapia fillet processors distributors. The business actor getting the biggest profit in the value chain is the fish processor, Rp. 102,048,667,500 per kg.
